Elizabeth & James is Mark-Kate & Ashley

I have been a huge fan of the Olsen Twins since I was like 3 years old. They have grown as I have grown & they have always been fashion icons in my eyes. Remember the Paris Movie?? I would seriously watch that today if I had it! Me and my cousin used to do our hair and shop for clothes to replicate them. First they came out with a line for wal-mart for teens, when they were teens. Then a few years back, they came out with another line called The Rowe and now they have Elizabeth & James. (those are their other siblings names). The clothes are cute, although the style is categorized as "street" on Boutiques.com, they stand right next to:  Herve Leger, DKNY, Micheal Kors, & Ralph Lauren to name a few & are absolutely holding their own. Here's some stuff I thought was really cute:

                                 Elizabeth & James

To get a feel for the price, these shoes are on sale for $297 originally $425

The Rowe
most of this line is black&white colors

Personally I like Elizabeth&James but the prices are really expensive, which is kinda what I like about it just because it's cool to think that MK & Ashley have come this far.

What do you guys think?

Review: Freeman's Detoxifying Facial Chocolate Strawberry Mask

This is the Freeman's Deep Pore Cleansing Detoxifying Chocolate Strawberry Facial Mask. Wow long name...I got at CVS for like $1.50. There is more than enough for one application. There is certainly not enough for 2 applications, but I did have some left over. My skin type is acne prone, mostly oily, sometimes dry so I do have a tough time finding skin product's that do work.

Over all I give this a 4/5. Let me just start on the good points:
-First off I love chocolate so this smelled good enough to eat I thought. It does have a strong scent. If you dont like chocolate &/or have a sensitive nose then maybe this mask isn't for you. If you can get past all of that though, it's quite nice.

-It goes on just like any other face mask: once it hardens your face becomes tight and then you rinse it off with warm water. Some masks are a mother to get off of my face, so I liked this one in the respect I didn't have to do a number on my skin.

-As soon as it was off of my face, I felt an immediate difference. My skin felt very fresh, almost light-weight. It did do as it promised for the most part with the detoxifying aspect but that is why I gave it a 4 because I did say for the most part...

-I didn't have huge red pimples when I used this, but I always do have white heads and black heads. I do pop white and black heads, not the red ones. You know when you get a facial and they do an extraction? That's the professional word for popping white & black heads. What ever the mask didn't extract out of my face I found it extremely easy to get the rest of the job done. It really did bring all of that gunk (sorry to be gross) to the surface of my skin.

I wont explain how to extract, just google it if you must but I will say this: Always prep your face (this mask is a great way, or even steam) to bring all of the dirt to the surface, and put tissue in between your finger tips and your skin to prevent breaking your skin open.

Will I be buying this again? Not for a while just because I do want to try other masks from this line, but I definitely will some time again in my life. I didn't give it a 5/5 just because I was expecting some sort of miracle I guess in the respect that I did have to do some of work. But I think it is a great mask regardless.

As my first official review, I wanna hear from you guys, Was this helpful?
Thanx for reading everybody!

Target, Bath & Body Works, (and some other's) Haul! & Small Review(s)

Really quickly, I wanted to let you guys know that with every review I will be ranking products on a 5 star basis. 1 star horrible and 5 stars the best product EVER. A lot of hauls that I do usually have other blog posts in front of them, I usually have about a week or so to use product's and tell yah what I think. I know that's not the point of haul's but I just feel a little or useful this way, so here goes:

Physician's Formula Cashmere Bronzer. This review will be a bit long I do have mixed feelings about this product

Polishes
In the Spotlight, BubbleGum Pink, & Preppy Purple (review's will be in)

B&BW Dark Kiss- Body Butter & Body Spray buy 2 get 1 free. I cant remember how much these were. Either way 5/5. This is my favorite scent from B&BW. Do we all remember the Mood candle/lotion line a few years back from VS? This reminds me of Sweet Cravings scent which I loved! I layer these every morning. The butter is so smooth and putting them on together, the scent will linger all day.

B&BW Shea Cashmere Hand Cream $10. Smells like butter, very rich and creamy 5/5. I love this! I could eat this stuff. At $10 I am going to get the tub of it next time for around $17. I think it's a bit pricey but worth it for me. It is absolutely moisturizing & amazing. The scent alone is so warm & soft & creamy I want this whole line of products.

Creamy Hawaiian Coconut Body Scrub (buy 2 get 1 free). I love body scrubs and I usually go for the C.O. Bigelow ones, but since I really wanted the Dark Kiss, I opted out for this (because of the buy 2 get 1 for free deal) which I am really happy I tried it because not only is it a scrub, but when you scrub it on to your legs (I use my hands) It lathers very nicely. I give this 4/5 stars. 4 because I feel like they could have done better with the scent, being B&BW and all. I love coconut, and yes it smells like coconut- but I expected more from them.

B&BW Country Chic That came with a bag. Both which I got for free from buying any Signature Collection product last week (sat. 3/20). Eh I dunno. The scent is nice. Nothing special. The bag I wouldn't buy for $5 (that's how much it is). I could take or leave these. I only buy body butter because I don't feel like the regular lotions are that moisturizing so on that note, I would give it a 3. Maybe the scent will grow on me.

B&BW candles 3 for $5. I love the candles they have. The Fresh Picked Cherries smell good and actually burns with a sour candy smell to it, which I like sour candies. Strawberry Patch has a much higher throw than the other one, and is much more sweeter. It smells delicious. (I got 2 strawberry candle's btw)

Pink Pants $35, Which came with a gift card that is redeemable on April 1st. Every card is at least worth $10 although some can go up to $500!

Body Central Stuff- Necklace. $3.80

Tank Top $8
Sorry my breast's always seem to get in the way. I had nobody else to take my pic, sorry guys. My point of these pics were to show you how the fabrics lay on my body.

                                                                   Shirt $8

ELF Eyebrow Kit $5 @ Target. This is awesome. Go and get this! They come with stencils (4), Tweezers, (mine were missing!) Concealor Brush (IDK why), Brow Powder & Cream Duo, & Brow Gel. I love this. I am obsessive about my brows, 5/5 This is an absolute steal for $5. The brow gel can be $5 alone.

Yankee Candle Tarts: Early Sunrise, Vanilla Cupcake, & Pink Sands $1 each (sale)

Park Lane Ring $5

Proactiv Skin Care & Proactiv Vitamins?!

Yes with my Proactiv order, I opted to try out the free trial vitamins. It's a kool idea that I was curious about so I wanted to try it out. Since I just received the vitamins I cannot give you a full review, but I will say that I am very exited and have high hopes for it! Since im on my Healthy Journey I figured, why not give it a try? But I can give you a review on the Proactiv & I know I promised a 360 clean from Loreal review and im not going to get into it on this post but I do use it in my skin care regimen so if you want a separate (but short) review click here

So there is everything I got for $30 bucks! I mean it's really not a bad price at all, even though the 3 steps are not full size, but there is enough there for me for at least 2 months. I have never actually bought a full size & I suppose you get more for your money, but the travel size has always worked for me. But I also got a full size Refining Mask, the Daily Oil Control, & the Oil Free Moisturizer. It also come with the Dr's Secret's Booklet and it's nothing special. It's like a "fun facts" type of thing that maybe if your a teenager and this is your first experience with breakouts, could be of use. Otherwise it's a book of obvious statements.

When I was 20 years old, I started breaking out horribly, and this resulted in me being self-conscious about my skin. I bought pro-activ and at first I thought I was a scam! That is because I started breaking out even worse after a week or 2. But that is how it works. It gets rid of all of that cucky in your pores and underneath your skin & after my first bottle was gone my skin was not only blemish free, it was as soft as a baby's back side! I heart Proactiv!

Let me tell you a little about each product:
1. Step 1 the Renewing Cleanser (you only need a little bit, I believe they say a "dime size") has an exfoliant in it. It has a slight gritty-ness to it. It's not too intrusive, I doesn't feel like your rubbing sand all over your face or anything. To me it's quite gentle.

2. Step 2 Is just the Toner. I actually just drip a couple drops all over my face (cheeks, forehead, chin) & then rub it in with just-washed hands. I do that just because I feel like I am wasting it with a cotton ball. A cotton ball is recommended but honestly, that way works fine too. I feel like it works better because im not wasting half of it on the cotton

3. Step 3 is a Repairing Treatment, not to be confused with a moisturizer. I think this is the Holy Grail of the bunch. This is probably the product that I love the most out of all of them.

4. Refining Mask is to be used after Step 1 & you apply it to your blemish(s) on a damp face. Let it sit for about 10 minutes and then wash off. I used to love this one a lot too, it felt like my pimples would just fall off the next day. Now when I use it, I don't get the same effect. I haven't used my new one though, and maybe I feel like it didn't work as well because I wasn't using it with the 3 other steps. You are supposed to use it a couple times a week.

5. The Green Tea Moisturizer is to be used when your experiencing dryness and after the 3rd step. And since it is a Green Tea Moisturizer, it has plenty of anti-oxidants which are good for your skin. If you have watched my Ice Facial (courtesy of Michelle Phan) you know she used Green Tea in that.

6. The Oil Free Moisturizer has SPF 15 in it and agian should be used after the 3rd step. I use it in the morning as the very last step. The only reason is, is because it has SPF 15 in it so I will protect my face throughout the day.

7. Daily Oil Control is to be used after the 3rd step as well, and you should use it daily. I have oily skin so I dont know if they sent it to me because they knew that (which im assuming so) My only gripe for this product is that the consistency of it it watery. If you a put a touch on your finger to apply, it will slide right off of your finger because of how watery it is.

(sorry about the side-ways pic, I couldn't turn it right side up for some reason!)

Pro-Activ Vitamins(VitaClear)
They come in this cool little case and are individually wrapped for each day, which is nice. If your in a hurry just grab 'em and go. I have been taking them in the morning and once I explain them all, you will see why.
1. Energizer - Designed to help boost energy & they are believed to play a key role in maintaining healthy-looking skin & are also known as "stress vitamins" & helps energize you on a daily basis.

2. Mineral Compound- Designed to help support healthy bones & support clear skin. Also support's a healthy immune system & support a strong body from head-to-toe. It has Calcium, Magnesium (muscle health), Zinc (optimal skin health), Chromium (plays an important role in carb metabolism & believed to manage sugar too), & Boron which support's healthy bones.

3. Antioxidants- Like a said earlier, it helps support healthy looking, clear skin. Sun, Pollution, & Stress all impact your skin and since this supplement has Vitamins A, C, & E It helps tame breakout's. Vitamin A is not only great for smooth, supple skin it also supports vision, healthy growth and reproduction & is essential for proper immune system.

4. Lastly there is the Super Juice supplement which is designed to supply whole food nutrition. A diet is supposed to include 4-5 daily servings of fruit & veggies . Since alot of people don't get the recommended amount in their diet, this has what you need to supply the whole food nutrition in just one tablet. It has Vitamin C (helps with the production of new, healthy cells) & D (to aid in absorption of calcium), Thiamin (helps to metabolize fats & carbs), Folic Acid (for DNA synthesis, whatever that is) & Biotin again.

Bottom Line of these Vitamins, is that you don't really need to get the Vita Clear box, you just need to purchase the vitamins at the local GNC. These supplements are also great for other things too, not just skin, which is the one thing I really like about them. I don't have to worry about taking other vitamins, I can just pick up a pack of these and be on my way for the day!

What do you all do to keeps your skin clear?

Give Your-Self A Manicure: At Home Spa Edition 1

This is How I do my manicure's and this is the end result of it-

I am not a manicurist (is that even the job name?) I don't even know. All I know is I love to get my nails done but hate those huge, fake, thick, acrylics! It might be just me, I get more satisfaction when I can create a look like this one all myself! These are my real nails and I bite my nails since I had teeth (my mother likes to say) I recently (about 2 years ago) stopped biting my nails. If your an abuser of your nails as well, continue having major breakage, hopefully this might help!

1. What I do first is take off any polish w/Nail Polish Remover I may have on, yah no with some tissue or cotton ball, whatever works for you.

2. I take a little tub (mine is that green thing & it's from the hospital, anything your fingers will fit in will do) Fill it up with warm water. I put in some of The Color Workshop Cuticle Repair. I feel like it gets my nails even softer & easier to work with plus it's a great moisturizer. I say if your going skip one of the Cuticle Oil steps, Skip this first one! Soak your nails in just water if you like, the Oil works better on contact. It's a great invention so I do both. I mean be creative! Try aloe in your water, that's also a great moisturizer! When the water starts to get cold, pat your hands dry and move on to the 3rd step!
3. Then I take this File Cube is what I dubbed this item. (the pink block on the right hand side of pic) You can get these at the Dollar Store guys, for a buck. Not expensive AT ALL. It has 4 sides for 4 reason's. Steps 1,2,3,&4 they are for your whole nail, not just the tips. It doesn't file, it just smooths down and shines. Its a Great Buy for a Buck you can't get any better! If you need to file or clip your nails to get the length you want, do that too.

4. Moving on, More cuticle oil! I like the Avon's Cuticle Oil Pen with Lavender. It has a brush and I just brush it all over my nail and cuticle. I think the Avon one is discontinued, but I would think any Sally's may have a Cuticle "Pen" Then just rub it in, if your sweetie is near-by have him massage it in for the full Spa effect, but this is obviously 10x better! A miracle Step! Let it sink in, and move on to the next step.

5. I use Avon's Nail Experts Strong Results (length and strength complex). I have a extremely quick review on it here. It's a great product. The watery consistency threw me off at first, but it does help with my nails. They are growing in longer & stronger. I am happy with this product. This is one of my favs for the month (little tid bit) This is another miracle step! Let it dry of course and move on.

6. Base coat. Simple as that. Apply it.

7. This is the fun step! I use the L.A. Color Art Deco polish (in white) for this. As you can see, the tip of brush for this particular line, is nice and thin so you can get that precise application. If your not hip to these, DG carries them for a buck and they are great, they have a bunch of colors, today i'm going with the white on my tips. If your are more comfortable, Use tape or those little strips you can get to apply to your tip's. That way, if you mess up- no biggie! That's how I did it for a while until I was comfortable otherwise.

8. Once that dries, just slap on (well neatly) some top coat. I like to use Orly Nail Lacquer. It works for me!Im sure any Top Coat will do!

End Result: I usually change my polish every other day (probably because i bite it all off) regardless, even about a week or so after my nail polish and manicure has long worn off, my nails are still quite soft & that Cube File & Nail Hardener does it for me.

At Home Manicure: adding all of the above up, along with some extra time to not bite those nails! (I was such a nail bully!)  For all of those products you would pay about $25. You can do about 25 manicures! So a buck a manicure.

Salon Manicure: can run anywhere from$25-$30. For one manicure.

Thank You for Letting Me Share and I Hope All You Ladies Love It! And oh yeah do you all like the Post's That Have A Number of Chapters? (ex: Spring Trends) Any Idea's on Some New Topics I can do? I would love to hear!

Spring Trends HangBags & Accessories

Think: leather, 2 fingered rings,  cat eye sunglasses, clogs, kitten heels another trend is punk fashion. here's a great bag that reflects this particular trend with the studs! cute right?

So now since the color of the year is a color called honeysuckle, (the exact color of the bag above) This is a perfect trend along with the 2 straps- 1 long to carry around your shoulder and 2 straps are short to carry kinda inside your bent arm, (near your elbow) I have been seeing this 2 strap deal everywhere and the chain link straps which is a nice touch, another trend is metallic which is more geared toward textiles w/metallic stitching BUT when I think of metallic I think of Shiny Pretties! Since they are both trends, this is a Perfect trendy bag!

Keeping up with the Punk Theme, studs are HUGE so here's some studded bags. This year, when it comes to studs, Go Big or Go Home with accessories!
Animal print you all know, will never fade! At least I hope not....But they are like bigger spots lately on all of the leopard print things right? either way, cute

2 finger rings that im dying to get my 2 finger's on! so adorable!

When It comes formal evening attire, the daylight isn't exempt to these accessories. Take out those Cocktail Rings & Sparkly Clutch's before dusk Ladies! The only recommendation to this is that your clothes are casual! But  there are no rules when it comes to fashion & design, only       recommendations!
