Shabby Chic Nail Art

Hey! Ok, I know that every other post has been about nails but I simply can't help myself. I have found some really good nail blogs + I have been Pinning Nailspiration like crazy! I will share the blogs later, but for now, let's get on with my NOTW!

And by the way, if your looking for more NOTW's here on MBB, search NOTD's because I used to be the girl that could never leave her polish on for a whole day, hence the title Nail Of The Day.

The pink polish is by Wet n Wild. The label really wore off there. It's called Tickled Pink.
Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in Mint Sorbet
Art Deco nail art by L.A. Colors. There colors do not have names. There brushes come to a fine tip which is how I got the thin lines going up my nails. I am sure you've seen these polishes before.

I think the pastel colors along with the stripes and heart really makes this shabby chic! Don't you?

Here's some links:

on another note: do you guys like my updated side bar? let me know what you think! I am still trying to figure out how to get rid of the padding! If you know how, let me know in the comments, please! I have tried 20 different codes and it's a no go!

thank you for reading!

NOTW - Wine & Ribbons

How clever is that name- Wine & Ribbons. I think my nails look more like a Christmas Gift so feel free do this manicure around Christmas, or, you can be like me, and just go for  it now...in the beginning of October!.....ok maybe im lying...I have a confession- I did this look and took these pictures in July- I wasn't sure if I wanted to post this now either, I wanted to wait until later in the year. But it's my blog and "I do what I want!" (in the voice of Cartman)

-The deep wine color is by Orly, and it's called Moonlit Madness. I put 1 coat of it and I don't think anymore coats would be necessary, if your going to do the rest of the layers. You will be putting on 2 other nail colors and also a rhinestone so even if you feel like you need another coat, I don't recommend going for it. Your nails will look extruded from all the layers of polish

-For the rest of the nails (excluding the thumb) I did 2 coats. I obviously didn't do the bow on each nail, so for the rest of them- 2 coats would be plenty

-L.A. Colors in black to outline where I wanted the bow

-L.A. Colors in white to fill in the bow

-And to stick on my massive rhinestone right in the middle of the bow, I used nail glue which worked pretty well.

**You can also probably stick it on right when the polish is wet, but i dunno how long it would stay on.

I thought this NOTW would be good because the Orly color is pretty fall-esq. Deep Red is a color i have been seeing on everyone's nails this season!

Whats your favorite fall nail color or trend?

So yeah there's my nails of the week...of July! haha I hope you guys enjoyed this post, and as always, thank you so much for reading!

    Dollar Store Finds (:

Hey ladies hope you all had a great weeekend, I know I did- very relaxing. I feel like ive been non-stop for the past couple weeks so I went to Rainbow got the cutest maxi dress, Bought my mom a gift card to get her nails done and also I went to the dollar store! yay! thought I would share witcha, everything was a buck a piece-
    • Nail Art Nail Polish in Silver, Black, & Pink. I love these! the brushes are really thin- great for nail art.
    • ELF defining eye brush. I dont have a angled eye brush so I figure why not pick this up and give it a try. I think it will be good for the crease.
    •  One of the main reason I went to the dollar store was for my hair ties. I love the color's of them! (sorry you cant really see the true color of them) The pastels are too cute! they will match all my pastel nail polish ive been obsessing over
    • Bobby Pins
    • Another reason I went was to get these bra clips. Never tried them but I cannot wait to. all for for a buck. remember the infomercial about these? they used to be like $10 for 2....awesome deal

    • I usually pick up tealight's every time I go because I burn alot of Tarts and Melt's
    • Aloe Vera hand soap. I love the aloe vera hand sanitizer because it makes your hands soft as opposed to the regular stuff that makes my hands seriously dry, that also goes for when I wash my hands too- they always become dry- so I seen this and grabbed it!
    • Has anybody tried the Aloe Vera drink??? I wanna try it, but I dont wanna spend money on it if I dont like it- its expensive! lol
Just a fun little sunday post thought my bloggers would like. What have you found for a steal from the dollar tree?  Thanx for reading!!

The black branches and and the pink and white petals are all by L.A. Colors Art Deco. There's no color names- you can find them at DG! I did a great job cleaning up my makeup on the counter right? lol. dont u hate when you can really see where you messed up bad in a picture? they look so perfect on your actual nail tho right? haha

It looks like i'm holding an imaginary nail polish huh? I should have been holding the base color!

the right one is the one I used its called Luxe Lavender. to the left is called Vintage Blue. (I just didnt have a picture of Luxe Lavender only!

P.S..- like how my font color matches the nail polish? Thanx for reading!
