Bath and Body Works Candles + A Mall Haul

It has been some time since I purchased any new B+BW candles. It is one of my favorite stores. It's kind of ridiculous how many candles I have. I personally like to save any seasonal candles I haven't used up for the next year in case I miss the 2 for $22 for any given month. I used to not care about what scent I was burning in what month but there really something about the changing of the seasons paired with seasonal candles. In the fall, I crave Cinnamon Sugared Donut and Cider Lane. In the summer, I crave summer scents. It's so weird. I don't know how I got like this....im pretty sure B+BW had something to do with it.

Aloha Waikiki
Hulas & Hibiscus
I had this Wallflower last year and even though I love the smell of hibiscus, the Wallflower was too strong- or maybe I am just sick of it! Probably. On top of the Wallflower I had, I also have the Kim K. perfume which smells a lot like this candle. I have wanted this candle since last year and when I realized this scent was part of the 2 for $22, I couldn't resist. Now, I'm deciding on returning it. I need something new. But if you need a hibiscus or plumeria fix, this is your candle. It also kind of smells like jasmine too. Although they had another candle with a dominant jasmine note and I liked it more than this. It does have a high scent throw though. I'm taking it back anyways. I'm sick of this scent! Do you ever get like that?

"an exquisite fusion of Plumeria petals, Tiare blossoms, and a hint of sugarcane that transports you to the big island Aloha paradise!"

Garden Strawberry
OMG! When I first started my blog, I did a blog post about a Strawberry candle B+BW had years ago. It smelled like straight up strawberries. Even though strawberries aren't my favorite fruit, I do love the smell. This candle is incredible. I lit it in my bedroom and I could smell it coming up the stairs (we have a second floor that consists of 1 bedroom and a sitting room. It's pretty much a glorified attic). The scent isn't obnoxious or anything like that but the scent throw is really far. I love the smell of this. It smells like sugary tart strawberries along with some mango. Mangos are my favorite fruit but I honestly wish it was just strawberry scented. Nonetheless, the candle smells so good. The scent description reads:

"A succulent blend of juicy strawberries, fresh mango nectar & floral peach blossom."

Cinnamon Sugared Donut:
I normally do not buy candles twice. I get sick of the scent by that next season and move on. I make an exception for Cinnamon Sugared Donut. Last fall, I couldn't wait to get my hands on it! When I got to the store, I found out they did away with it for Fall 2013. Naturally I moved on to other candles but I kept on thinking about this one. It is my favorite B+BW candle scent- probably ever. This is featured in the Sweet Shop line that is apparently sold exclusively in the mason jars only. Adorable, yes. But there is something about the scent throw- the mason jar just doesn't have as far of one as the 3 wick did. It smells exactly the same in the jar but when it's lit, it isn't as strong as a scent as it used to be. I liked to be smacked in the nose with fragrance when I walk in the door and this one doesn't smack me very hard. Which is unfortunate because it smells exactly like the description reads:

"Share the delight of a freshly baked vanilla cake doughnut covered in sugar crystals and crushed cinnamon"

Next time I go back I need to stock up on Wallflowers and some new Bath and Body Products (coconut. yum.) Anyways, that's another blog post.

At another mall trip I bought a few other things! Elephant in the room:{I shop too much. Honestly. I feel like my life revolves around hauls and shopping. It's a problem.} Anywho, I bought more stuff!!! Surprise, surprise. This video haul consists of jewelry and sunglasses, but hey! I have a wedding to go to people. That's always my spring time excuse. I could also mention that its the changing of the seasons and trends....Those 2 are good enough excuses for me!

Do you have a favorite spring candle?
What is it?

Thank you for viewing!

Bath and Body Works in the FallTime

When I went into Bath and Body Works a week or so ago, I was kinda bummed. I didn't find anything that appealed to my nose and that I couldn't leave the store without. I think I was bitter about the Cinnamon Sugared Donut fiasco. They aren't carrying that candle this year. That's ok I guess. But I was not having it last week.

So then I went back into Bath and Body Works a couple days ago and this time, I took my time. I tend to read the candle name and if it doesn't have any variation of a baked good on it, I won't even smell it. I smelled all of the Pumpkin candles and was expecting to leave with Pumpkin Pecan Waffles, or Pumpkin Cupcake, or Blueberry Pumpkin Patch. That last one was really interesting. It smelled like a fully ripened blueberry on the vine (do blueberries grow on a vine?). They oddly pin pointed what a blueberry would smell like on the brink of crisp weather when they are fully ripened and about to die. Just go give it a sniff next time and you will know what I mean.

 Cider Lane
Then, I smelled Cider Lane. I hope they have a Wallflower in this scent because I want to put it in my kitchen and let it live there forever. It smells just like caramel apples. Forget the description. You can smell the top note of apple cider right off the bat. But then, you get that bottom note of the sweet, buttery caramel. I was so intrigued at that last second that I picked it back up to give it a whiff again. And when you burn it? The caramel is just as prevalent as the apple cider scent. Amazing. Must try. I think it is the sweetest candle this year.

"As sweet as a trip to the local apple orchard each year, a delicious fall blend of mulled cider, warm caramel and sweet cinnamon."

 Roasted Pumpkin Butter:
The name sounds like it wouldn't be the most sweetest scent of the bunch, but it is sweet and also has that buttery note in there which was exactly what I was looking for. It smells like a sweet cinnamon pumpkin butter. Now I want to duplicate this in the form of a muffin. The cinnamon and sweetness is in there but it smells more butter and pumpkin than anything. It doesn't have as high of a scent throw as Cider Lane but it does fill up the living/dining room.

"Savor the delicious fragrance of a fall treat from the local pumpkin patch-whipped pumpkin, toasted cinnamon and creamy vanilla butter."

 Blackberry Spice
I had a survey on my receipt and if I filled it out, I got $10 off of $30! I always have a survey it seems, I just didn't know about them before until a cashier told me one time. Take a look next time at your receipt because those never expire. Anyhow, I needed something for a few more bucks. I really wanted to try maybe the coffee candle or something but since they were out, I obviously couldn't. Plus the girl raved about this one so I decided to try it out. I personally liked the Blueberry Pumpkin Patch but they didn't have a baby candle in that fragrance. Le sigh. This one is good though.

"Bring home the perfect blend of sweetness & spice - fresh picked berries, crushed cloves, cinnamon bark and vanilla cream."

I Love S'mores Pocket Bac. I have my I Love Cinnamon Buns Pocket Bac too. I Love the hand sanitizers that smell like food. They are so cool! Remember the Peanut Butter and Jelly one or the Chocolate Chip Cookie one? I Love S'mores just smells like vanilla buttercream or something.

I never do get a chance to buy the hand soaps and I have always wanted one. So I settled on Pumpkin Caramel Latte. It doesn't actually smell like the candle. It smells really good though. Like buttery.... or creamy. I can't really pin point it to be honest. Wash your hands with it one day at the store and you will get it.

I already want to go back and buy more stuff.  I have a whole list. It's a ridiculous obsession.

Did you guys buy anything from the fall line from Bath and Body Works?

August Favorites

Geez, this whole project took a while. The fact that it's almost 20 minutes long is hilarious considering I didn't even get to talk about every thing I wanted to. But, I do think you all will like this mini series I got goin' on. These videos are so me. I always think its fun to see a blogger convert into a vlogger. You think you know someone, but then you actually get to know them thru videos. Quirks, Voice, Mannerisms, whatever.

Even if you could care less about me, the stuff I am talking about is obviously awesome. I talk about some beauty products and also some spiritual type of stuff. The things I do to keep myself in check, be happy, and live a better life. All that stuff is in Part 2.

Let me know what you all think of this! I need to start getting on some sort of schedule when it comes to blogging and vlogging. Not sure what that schedule will be yet, but yah no. Im finally putting this up on the 12th of September which I think is a little late for a monthly favorites video.

I must ask you all, how do u stay on track? I am the one that plans out each and every day with a list that is separated hour by hour. But I am still behind. I had a great rhythm going at the beginning of the summer. That was when I lived at my mom's and life was simpler. Now I have my own place. Can I tell you how many bills I pay? That might be tacky but I feel like I am going to the bank every other day. And I am obsessively compulsively decorating my home that I call my own.....kind of. Philly lives here some times as does my Dad. But I pay the bills and I decorate how ever I want. So I am pretending it's all mine. The house also came with my dog growing up, Choochie's (choo-cheeee's). So there's that.

What were your favorite things from August?
How do you guys stay on track?

Thank you for viewing!

Semi Annual Sale Haul + Review

Hello!

I actually went to the semi annual sale twice! oops! Bath and Body Works is my favorite store, and Victoria's Secret is a close second.

They had the older candle fragrances for sale.

$11 for a 3 wick.

When I noticed Homemade Cookies, I didn't even open the lid to smell it. I remember always passing it up over the years, then when they didn't bring it back Fall of 2012, I wanted it even more. When I got it home, I opened it to smell it.....and it has a simple vanilla scent. I like vanilla scents, I do. But I like a vanilla scent with some other notes thrown in. Vanilla Bean Noel is the best vanilla scent, and Homemade Cookies is the worst. Merry Cookie falls somewhere in between those two. Homemade Cookies really doesn't have too much of a high scent throw. In fact, there isn't really any kind of throw whatsoever. The idea of the candle is awesome, but this candle suuuuucks. Now I remember why I always passed on this one in the years before. This candle is going back.

The scent description
Homemade Cookies

"Whipped buttercream and pure cane sugar mixed with vanilla cream and rich, sweet cream"

Before my second trip I was watching too many Youtube videos and reading too many blogs. That was when I decided I needed the Mint Chocolate candle too. This one is a lot better then Homemade Cookies. The description says it perfect. Even though Mint Chocolate has a higher scent throw than Homemade Cookies, it isn't as high as some of the other candles I have tried from B+BW. But it did make my room smell like a bowl of mint chocolate ice cream. It just didn't go much past the room in my nose. Philly said he could smell it a little better, however. This one's a keeper.

The Scent Description
Mint Chocolate
"Semi sweet chocolate, dark cocoa, and peppermint, with vanilla cream and white chocolate."

I also bought 3 Wallflower plug-ins.
I didnt get any pictures of these but they were too important not to mention since I have a ton of good and bad points to talk abouy.
{un-pictured}
I bought the cheaper plug-ins and I now firmly believe the decorative plug-ins work better than the plain ones. I am returning all three to buy the prettier ones. They were working ok, but it's been a week or two and the scent isn't as prevalent.

Keep your receipts for the Wallflower plug-ins!
You can return them within 2 years. That basically means that I will only have to spend money on 1 plug-in for every 2 years. From what the sales lady told me, I can keep on bringing them back within the 2 year span.

Also, if you can help it, un-plug your Wallflowers when it is storming. They have the tendency to stop working after a storm. I think that is maybe what happened to mine. Plus the plainer ones tend to go quicker if you ask me.

I also bought 4 bulbs for my Wallflowers:
-2 Homemade Cookies: The deal was 2 for $6. These are also going back. Even before the plug-in stopped working, this bulb just didn't really have much of a scent just like it's opposite, the Homemade Cookies candle. Don't waste your money.

-1 Hula's and Hibiscus: The candle smells so good. The Wallflower is a little strong. If I can, I may return the bulb and buy the candle instead.

-1 Strawberry Picnic: This one is awesome. It smells like a creamy strawberry dessert. I want to eat it.

I also bought a ton more stuff from the Semi Annual Sale's and some other places. Watch the video for the full haul:

Bath + Body Works Candles.

Wow, wow, wow! I have been crazy busy ever since April ended. In fact, even at the end of April was really busy. In the midst of picking up a ton of extra hours at work, working out, tanning, beautiful days for walks, re-decorating my room, trying to make a couple good videos to put up, My blog has been backed up! I have my Give-Away ready and waiting and I promise I will have it up asap. Get exited! I am (:

I love the 2 for $22 sale they have. It allows me to stock up from season to season + share the candles I got. Some girl's collect shoes. Others, bags.  For me, it's candles. And jewelry. And makeup. And tops and blouses. Let's stop there and get on with it.

The 2 for $22 sales allow us to buy 2 for $22, then every other 3 wick candle afterward is $11 each.

Limoncello:
In America this is an alcoholic beverage. I am not quite sure if the same holds true in Italy, but it doesn't smell like alcohol. This was the one I was drawn to the most because it seems like when I am in B+BW sniffing a ton of different candles, the scents all seem to mesh together and smell the same. This one smelled different than the rest. Let's face it, it smells just like Lemonade. But when I got it home, I realized it was my least favorite. I liked it, I did. It had a high scent throw. But after I burned it once, I wanted something else. The beauty of that is your allowed to burn the candle once and if you don't prefer it, you can exchange it for another one.I did just that. I will tell you later which one I got in lieu of Limoncello.

Poolside:
This is going to be in my current favorites. The scent description in my eyes {nose?} isn't correct. To me, this smells like Coppertone or sun tanning lotion. It reminds me of being in Virginia Beach or Nags Head beach at age 10 on a very hot day, playing in the sand and water. Then going to the boardwalk. I love this one. Truly love it. I bought a Candle's By Victoria candle in Coppertone awhile back and they are comparable but CBV's is more floral and powdery. Almost old lady like. Almost. Poolside is perfect in that it has a high scent throw {I can smell it throughout my bedroom which is big} but doesn't stray away from a Coppertone type of scent. You will either love it or hate it.

Watermelon Lemonade:
I have not burned this yet because my mom said she liked it {it's going to be a Mother's day gift} and it has taken me a little bit of will power to not burn it because it smells so good. I have the lid off sitting next to my bed and every once and awhile I will catch a whiff of it even though it isn't burning. It smells just like watermelon. But sweeter. Like watermelon juice.

Gelato:
I exchanged Limoncello for this one. It was the one I initially wanted but didn't see it at the store the first time. OMG this one is amazing. Just like Watermelon Lemonade, weather it is being burned or not, you can still smell it. When I took my first whiff of it, it brought me back to middle school or high school. I don't why. But I do it reminds me of a body splash or soap I used to have. It's killing me because I cannot think of what it reminds me of. Grrr! It smells delicious. I am going with the description on this one mixed with a juice, popsicle, or gelato. You know that kind of scent. Food scents are my favorite.

That's it! I want to get some Wallflowers too eventually in a few of these fragrances. They have some really cute plug ins right now.

Current Obsession: Vanilla Bean Noel

How many obsessions can I have? A lot, apparently. I wait all year for this scent to come out. I could never pick out wtf was in it besides vanilla. But I knew it was more than that because even though I love bakery scents, im not one to just go for a plain vanilla body spray. It smells too...vanilla-ey. I like a fragrance with depth, a fragrance with volume.

Vanilla Bean Noel is really unlike any other vanilla scent with the name "Vanilla" in it I have tried. For example, the cotton candy and cupcake body sprays don't count. Most of the time, scent's like that do have a note or two more then your average vanilla.

Vanilla Bean Noel smells like vanilla, yes. But it also has something in there that reminds me of an ice cream fragrance or something. It is much sweeter than just vanilla and smells like a creamy bowl of.....cotton candy ice cream? When I read the bottom of my Vanilla Bean Noel candle, here's what it said:

yep! It's that caramel mixed with cream in there that makes my brain go right to a bowl of  creamy ice cream topped with sweet caramel. It's weird to me that sometimes you can smell the creaminess or tartness of the scent. How do they do that? Yah no? It really boggles my mind thinking about how in the world they get something like cake batter extract....Who knows. In all fairness, this is a light hearted beauty/lifestyle blog, and not a very scientific one! Thank-God!

Here's a quick breakdown:

The Lotion: My personal favorite! It smells just like the candle description, which is just what the candle smells like (see previous paragraph). I sometimes wear this alone, without either of the body spray or shower gel and it holds it's own. In fact, this is the sole product that glues the 3 of them together if I were to layer the spray & wash with it. Plus, the lotion is the lingerer of the bunch. I apply and re-apply once every few hours and I get a whiff every know and again.

The Body Wash: Runner up to the lotion. It smells just like the lotion and the candle does (see pre-previous paragraph). Worn with the other two on top of it (the lotion and body spray) really brings out all of the notes of the fragrance, not missing a beat. Worn alone I would say it is so-so. Smells great at first but isn't much of a lingerer without the other two, or the lotion at the least.

The Body Spray: If I were to judge the whole entire Vanilla Bean Noel line on this product only, I wouldn't be too impressed. My bff Alex swears it smells exactly like the lotion but amped up by 10. To me, I smell nothing but that bland, boring, one note, run-of-the-mill, average joe, vanilla scent I was talking about earlier. Without any of that yummy dessert-in-a-bowl finesse to it. However, layering it with the other 2? Your golden!

The Candle: Smells just like that description I gave (or the one on the candle. Your choice!) And because it's only a medium candle, the scent throw doesn't go farther than my bedroom. That is only because of it;s size as far as im concerned. I love this little baby. I wanna big one.

If I had the money....
I would buy 1 of each bakery fragrance Philosophy has to offer. Why have I passed them up for the past few years? I was in Ulta today and we spent a few minutes smelling each one. My cousin always get's Philosophy 3 in 1's and she always helps me write down all of the recipes. I remember we spent an hour one 4th of July doing just that. Maybe if Philosophy ever goes on sale.

I bought all of this stuff plus two 3 wick candles at Bath & Body Works on Black Friday for a total of around $20 for everything. I love those types of sales. Here's the rest of the stuff I bought in this video. To find out more about the 3 wick candles I bought click me

Slatkin & Co. Christmas Candles

Maybe your rolling your eyes because it's only the second of November and im already talking about Christmas. Maybe not. The really cool thing about the blogisphere is that everyone seems like they have been ready for Christmas since a few days before Thanksgiving. Yes! That's why you guys are my people! On black friday, I went to Bath+Body Works. I love that store. Among some other things, I got 2 candles for $20. I explained in my video that I saved over 70% off of my total purchase! I just wanted to really talk about the 3 wick candles I got for now. So you seen the haul, time for the review.

Merry Cookie
Sometimes with the Bath + Body Works bakery candles, they don't barely smell like anything once you light it (Im talking to you, Frosted Cupcake!)  On a scale of 1-10, I would say Merry Cookie is about 7 or 8 judging on the scent throw. The description reads that it smells like a bowl full of cookie dough and it couldn't be more true. It really smells like cookies! Not cupcakes, or anything else. It smells just like a sugar cookie. It's my favorite out of the 2

Cinnamon Frosting
I wanted to find something to replace my Cinnamon Sugared Donut that B+BW sells during the fall. They had it last year around this time, but they got rid of it really quick this year. I was bummed because it is seriously my all time favorite. If I was comparing the 2 I would tell you the Cinnamon Sugared Donut smells exactly like it sounds and it is much sweeter than Cinnamon Frosting. Cinnamon Frosting's scent description is almost identical to Cinnamon Sugared Donut except for the clove in the Cinnamon Frosting. The cloves gives it more of a spicy scent which I don't mind but if I had to choose, I would go for Cinnamon Sugared Donut. On a scale of 1-10, this would be again a 7-8 with the scent throw.

Bonus.
Not only do you get the candle, but you get the corresponding recipe to go with it! I always wished they would have done this & this past fall, I have been looking for Cinnamon Sugared Donuts everywhere to eat. Well, now you don't have to wanna eat the candle! You can make the real food! haha! Plus, it's Christmas time which means, time to make cookies to pass out, which means you wont feel tempted to eat the whole batch! I am making Christmas Cookies again this year. I may do a series about it on this blog or on Meet Miss Jackson. let me know if you would like to see it here or there

I really, really, really, wanted a 3 wick of Vanilla Bean Noel but they were all out. That is my favorite. I got a medium one + some other things but i'll talk about all that next time.I wonder what the recipe is on the 3 wick Vanilla Bean Noel......

1 more thing....
The 3 wicks are supposed to burn for 30-45 hours. there is no way these burn for 45 hours! 30 maybe.

a side note:

My Favorite Fall Things

It has been a very crazy start to the fall. Lots of ups and downs. October is one of my favorite months because of my birthday (the 8th!).

I also love it for 2 more reasons:
1) because I know this will be the last of the nicer weather to takes walks and be outside and 2) it is closer to Christmas!

Unfortunately, the restaurant I was working at closed down at the start of October and I am at a loss *again* looking for a job. I have been praying I can get one in enough time to celebrate Christmas! It is my favorite holiday. This will be an extension of my beauty favorites. Check those out here.

Fall Favorites

Arm Candy:
Maybe this would qualify as a beauty favorite but whatever, I already uploaded the picture here. A trend I never really got into until recently. I have been buying cheap arm candy at every chance I get! If your loving this trend too, you will love my Forever 21 jewelry purchases!

Purple Jeweled Bracelet: Walmart $1.99
Pink Gummy Watch: JC Penney $10
Black Shamballa Bracelet: 5 and Below $2.99

My Birthday:
It was my birthday on the 8th!! Thanks to my mom for making dinner, my b/f's mom, Barb, for making me this delicious cake, my b/f Phil for the presents and taking me out to dinner (Red Lobster all you can eat shrimp! Holla!), & my bfff Alex for the pumpkins, & candle! I love you guys so much! We had a fun relaxing night, talking, drinking wine and hanging out. Alex brought the other puppies Lexi, Precious (Stella's mom), & Chloe (Stella's twin sister). It was 1 of the best birthday's yet! I was so lucky to have all of my favorite living beings there! 4 dogs & 3 other people besides myself. The dog to human ratio is sometimes at least 50/50.  Most of the time, we are out numbered by dogs at 2/4. We love our puppies!

Pumpkins:
Alex again, thank you girl! Have yet to carve these babies! I actually kinda like them plain. They look rustic sitting on the janky back porch! LOL!

Jack-O-Lantern
These are at the Boardman Park. I guess all the school's had a competition. Some of the best 1's were done by pre-schoolers! Wow! They look awesome! One good thing about Youngstown Ohio is the parks this time of year!

 Seasonal Beer:
I love trying seasonal beers. There's something about fall beers that gets me exited. I am usually a wine drinker any other time of the year. At my old work, they would rim the beer mug with cinnamon and sugar, then add pumpkin flavored beer. Perfect drink if your having a Halloween party! I bought a 6 pack of Sam Adams version of Octoberfest. I think that is my favorite Octoberfest beer.

Walks In The Park:
1 of our favorite things to do is go for walks in the park. There are so many good parks around here and lately we have been going to a park called Boardman Park. For the past couple of week's, the park has been really active. On top of the Jack-O-Lantern display, all of the decorations for the witch walk are up in the trail. They had Octoberfest + they are doing pancakes with homemade maple syrup which comes from the barks of trees. Here's some cute fall pictures from 1 of our walk a couple weeks ago. The other night, there were so many leaves on the ground that you couldn't even see the path!

Favorite Fall Candle(s)

Cinnamon Sugared Donut Candle
I took back my Frosted Cupcake, which didnt smell like anything when I lit it. I exchanged it to get my favorite fall scent from B+BW. I love this! It's a spicy, sweet, sweet scent! If your not into the super spicy scents, but want to stay true to the season, give this 1 a smell! And I promise this has a high scent throw!

Favorite Candle #2:

Air Wick Candle:
The candle Alex got me for my birthday! She knows me too well! It is from Air Wick. This candle doesn't have much of a smell, but I have been lighting it every single night because it changes colors! A perfect present, I believe, is something so gimmicky and cool that you probably would not buy it for yourself. This was right on the nose! LOL! I think this will be in some peoples Christmas boxes this year!

Favorite Nail Combo

Essie's A Cut Above:
That's the rose gold glitter you see. I love it so much. Not a great mani on my part but I had to share that gorgeous glitter again! And the light pink is from Wet n Wild from one of the older, cheaper nail polish lines. I don't know the name because it wore off and I dont recommend the polish. It got gloopy real quick. I just really love the color. Any baby pink will do for me!

Favorite Book

Helter Skelter:
Maybe you didn't know, but I love anything having to do with criminal law. Example, some of my favorite shows are Lock Up, Forensic Files, First 48, Snapped, & The Investigators. For a short time, I wanted to become a psychiatrist for people on death row. I want to get into their minds. I also had a slight obsession years ago to know everything there was to know about the whole Manson era. If I could go back in time, I would go back to 1969 and go the Haight Ashbury District, I would attend Woodstock (I would bring food for myself! Im 1 step ahead!) & make it back in time to be at the Manson trial. You may already know I have always had a huge obsession with Hollywood + how movies are made. I love when a set looks "fake". And when it comes to Hollywood, the older the better! I just love it! I would probably have to take my time traveling device to Hollywood circa 1940's too. Im getting off subject...

Even though I watch Forensic Files and can even get into court t.v. as long as its a high profile, juicy case, court t.v. will not capture my attention for too long. I was afraid Helter Skelter was going to be reminiscent of court t.v., reciting a bunch of legal documents from the trial and I wasn't going to be able to follow- considering it was written by the prosecutor himself. There is some legal jargon, but it's really easy to read. The last book I have read this fast was My Friend Leonard. If your into criminal law, the late 60's, or your into the whole Manson trial + more: give it a read!

Favorite Puppy

Stella:
Cant leave her out! She's a big girl now and her birthday is coming soon!1 (or 7) year(s) old! I love her. I know, I am a weird dog lady. My idea of a great birthday was having my 3 closest ppl at my house along with the 4 best dogs I know! Alex has Precious, Lexi, & Chloe. Lexi and Chloe are twinsies as they were born in the same litter. Said litter came out of Precious. Lexi's the only 1 not blood related. Lexi is also the goodest dog. The min pins are little brats! LOL! She loves other animals (kitties and puppies) but doesn't like strange people too much.
Phil holding her ears down- haha! She looks so cute and silly!
She has on a coat and a sweater: "I cant put my arms down!"lol!

Favorite Song

Long December
Old school, right?! How many remember this song? I used to love this song and completely forgot about it. I love when I all of the sudden remember songs I forgotten. I love any 90's rock. It is some of my favorite type of music. This song hits the spot if your craving a 90's rock song. Next song will be by Matchbox20....anyone?

Favorite T.V. Show

The Challenge.
this is my favorite show on. I have been watching it since Real World Road Rules Challenge 2000. I watch it every season & lately, have liked it more than Real World. When it is time for a new season, I always kick myself for not following the last season of the Real World a little more closely. MTV has the best reality shows in my opinion. Teen Mom. Jersey Shore. Second best would be TLC. How can I forget about Sister Wives, 19 Kids and Counting, Toddlers and Tiara's, Little People Big World, or Breaking Amish. I love t.v. This is my absolute fave show, though. This video is for the trailer.

Scent's of the Season #1: Bath and Body Works

This time of year is unlike any other. For me, the changing of the weather and it getting darker earlier usually just kills me! I am a summer girl! But, considering my birthday is Oct. 8 & my favorite holiday is Christmas, I love this time of year in another sense. This time of year for me is really exiting this year, for some reason for another.

I am not sure what it is.

  •  It could be that I have been on Things I love About Fall Tumblr thinking of all the things this season brings.
  •  It could be all the octoberfest and pumpkin beers ive been drinking (in a frosty mug rimmed with cinnamon and sugar!)
  •  It could be the new clothes and the new fall Pantone color panel
  •  It could also be the scents of the season. I love food scented candles. Even food scented body washes and sprays. I will take them anywhere, anytime. However, the retailers decide that this is the time of year that make scents (ha!) to put all of the yummy bakery scented things I love out on the market again. I have bought a few things to fill up my house to make you believe that I have just been baking all day, every day, in every room. Yeah, I don't care. I have some in my bathroom right now.
Im aloud!

Let's start with the obvious: the candle.

Frosted Cupcake: White Barn Candle Co.
My description is something a little bit different than B&BW's. I wished it had a stronger, higher, scent throw. It smells great when you sniff the hard wax, but I could kind of tell it wasn't going to be a candle with a really high throw. So why did I buy it, you ask? (Will answer that in a minute.) I have had it burning all night and I catch a whiff every now and again, but I just really want the scent to punch me in the face, yah no? To me, this smells exactly like the Shea Cashmere fragrance from the True Blue Spa line at B+BW, which is one of my favorite scents in the world. I have always thought the cashmere scent smells a lot like a frosted cupcake. So there you have it.

The sales girl who is always so helpful, informative, & awesome at my B&BW told me that Slatkin & Co. and White Barn are actually the exact same company. They share a factory and everything. We don't know why they are changing the name but I don't really care as long as they are the same quality. As of right now, the White Barn candle has let me down in terms of how strong it is when burning. I had a coupon for something free worth $10, so grabbed this.

I bought this candle because my absolute favorite fall time candle Cinnamon Sugared Donut was out of stock! They said I could return it when they get it in and they would give me a call. I have yet to hear from them so we shall see. And a side note, they are not making a Wallflower in the Cinnamon Sugared Donut scent this year! I am so bummed! Luckily, I still have a half of 1 left from last year!

Then I purchased 2 Wallflowers and 2 Wallflower scents for $20. They always have this sale running.

Cinnamon Nut Bread:
This is the next best thing next to Cinnamon Sugared Donut I suppose, with a nutty twist. I plugged this one in in the kitchen, and I thought for a quick second after I forgot it was plugged in that someone had spilled maple syrup somewhere. It makes the whole room smell really delicious! It also smells a lot like banana nut bread too. The scent will change from time to time, in a good way.

"Yummy! Enjoy a warm medley of fresh baked shortbread with cinnamon, buttercream and chopped nuts with this cozy fragrance."-Bath and Body Works' Description

Frosted Cupcake:
The description from both myself and the candle above is the same. Smells just like the Shea Cashmere fragrance from the True Blue Spa line, in Wallflower form. As for the scent throw in Wallflower form, it is present. You can smell it from afar which means it has a high scent throw. However, Frosted Cupcake is not as strong as the Cinnamon Nut Bread. It has a fainter smell. Noticeable, but subtle.

This I think would be a good scent for the bathroom if your someone that like's appropriate scents for the correct rooms. It has a creamy, sweet, subtle, fresh kind of scent. Really good.

2 Wallflower plug ins.
If you buy these please note that if your power goes out and you have them plugged in, they will stop working! The nice lady at my B&BW store told me as an FYI. Other than that, I seem to get duds from time to time. It's really strange. Last year when I bought some, you could smell the Wallflower on the whole 2nd floor when it was in the bathroom. This year, I bought new ones and the acorn 1 barely worked at all, so I took it back and got a new acorn one which is a little better but not by much. I don't really know why that is. I have been using the white one by itself because I don't wanna waste my scents. That will never do!

That was everything I picked up from Bath and Body Works for the house. But it's not over just yet! I still have my Yankee Candle stuff and let me tell you, I am completely in love!

Side Note:
I have a lot of blog post's to spit out this month! I am going to try for posting a blog every other day!! So check back often!

thank u
xoxo
