13: Inspired by a Celeb: Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen's -The Row- Won the CFDA award for Women's Wear of the Year 2012!

As soon as I seen the above headline scrolling at the bottom of the t.v. on E! I was ecstatic! The Olsen twins have 3 different lines (that I know of, anyway!) 1. Olsenboye: a boho type of line targeted for teens & women in their 20's seemingly, which is sold at JC Penney. 2. Elizabeth & James & 3, The Row. Not to mention they have their hands in Stylemint. These chicks know high fashion!

The Row is sold at Barney's & Shop Style. Here are some of my favorite piece's:

30 Day Challenge: Clothing or Product that Evokes Good Memory

Hi! I am a few days behind the Challenge! Boo! On monday we celebrated by grilling out, going swimming & hanging out with friends & family! Then, I was sick! For anyone that doesn't know, I have asthma, so I have attacks from time to time. I have gained a few more followers since then so welcome everyone! I am so happy to have yah! I will talk more about memorial day part & not the boring sick part below . Let's just get caught up with the challenge, shall we?

#7. Clothing or Product that Evokes Good Memory: I relate scent's & smells to times of my life. There are some scent's that will take me back 10-15 years ago & things I haven't thought of since come rushing back to me. I can pick any one of my scent's & tell you a story about it, so, I am just going to pick something random:

Usher For Women: Surprisingly my uncle who has almost nothing in common with me gave it to me for Christmas! He has amazing taste because it is on of my favorite fragrances. The main notes in Usher for Woman are peach, freesia, osmanthus, jasmine, honeysuckle, peony, woodsy notes, musk and praline. When I smell it, I smell more of the floral notes & the bottom notes- I don't really smell the peach in it. I also smell the office I used to work in at the beginning of 2011. It reminds me of all the people I knew there & things or feelings I maybe have forgotten about. It is so strange to explain but you guys get what I mean by a fragrance taking you back to a certain time of your life.I also love the oil spill effect on the bottle.

I have also decided to do each day 1 at a time. I will most likely post the next "day" later on since I am so behind so I hope you guys don't mind! I am a rule breaker!

On a side note: How was everyone's Memorial Day?! We had such a good day! My whole house (mom, b/f, me, & my mom's b/f was visiting) all went my aunt & uncles house for a pool party! It was supposed to storm but it didn't all day *thank God*! Anywho, I made my Tone It Up Cupcakes & they were a hit! When I told people that they were eating protein powder, they almost died! haha! Afterwards, my bff Alex & her b/f Wes, came over and the 4 of us ended the day with an awesome bonfire. We had all 3 three puppies out with us: her 2, Chloe & Toby & my one Stella which are all from the same litter but Stella ran into a freaking incense! She's fine, she just burned off some of her hair but I feel like a really bad dog mom! :{ No worries, her red spot is gone-- Sometimes I feel like I shouldn't even have kids...They will probably run right into a fire. Please don't judge me (:

Channeling Kourtney Kardash: London Fog & Tangerines: FOTD

Hey Beauties! I did my makeup like this last night for a night out! Hope you enjoy! I love this look, it is a smokey eye look which was inspired by the promo pics for Kardashian's new season (6) that Kourtney took- I love how she did the bright lip and the dramatic eye...I cant just pick one yah no! I think it is appropriate for the night-time so I had a lot of fun creating this look. I re-discovered the taupe color I used for the medium shadow color, I love it- it's Mark. London Bridge which is think was unfortunately a limited edition color from the Flip For It's they did a couple years back, the London Bridge was (obviously) in the london palette. It looks silver in the pan, but as soon you swatch it or use it, the color is a really pretty taupe/gold color.

• Darkest Color: (Black) Mark. Corset in outer corner of eyes. Also lined underneath eye.

Lips: 

• Avon Ultra Color Lipstick in Tangerine and I also lined my lips with it using the pointy part of the lipstick

So I was actually half-tempted to dedicate another blog to the Kardashian's..eh going a bit to the extreme tho lol- going a bit far but can we just make it a Kardashian month? Seriously, I have been so inspired by them since I watched the premiere on Sunday.

Loves:
Kourtney's House- OMG Love it! Kourtney is definitely the more shabby chic one of the group, I love her new home! It has character! The white cabinetry, Blue Shutters, Love Love Love it! Her's is the most different house of them all.

I cannot find a pic of Kourtney's new house!! Damn! I wanted everyone else to gush with me! Oh well here's a picture of her that Is so beautiful! I love her makeup! I like the bright lip and bold eyes together, I def. wanna do a FOTD with this as inspiration!

Jenner's House Makeover- They did a beautiful job on the house, I absolutely love it! I actually do love the entry way tile at the Jenner's- black & white blocks. It reminds me so much of Cher Horowitz(s?) house. Clueless was my favorite movie growing up, I used to try to dress like her and I would do drawings of what I thought the rest of her house looked like! haha I was a dork even then! so the Jenner's house is a bit nostalgic for me, I have to say (: The decorator is Jeff Andrews.

Kim & Kris are so adorable we all know that she has been looking for love forever now, right? Having met all of her boyfriends (on television, of course) I have to say that they are cutest together. You can really tell they love each other- so exited to see what is to come with those 2. I think I like Kris as much as I like the Bruiser just from seeing the 2 minute clip of him at the beginning of the show, along with the trailer.

To just fill you in on my thoughts for the past Kardashian year: I didn't really get too much into Khloe and Lamar mainly because of Rob.....& Khloe... I have to admit. I however, did love and enjoy Kim & Kourtney Take NYC. It seems as if Kourtney is growing up (for lack of a better word) and we all used to hate Scott right?! Ever since K&K in NYC...maybe even a little before that- I can see Kourtney's attraction to him...he has a huge personality. My bf will even watch Kardashian's, and he will actually like it (trust me, its hard for him..more of a show for the girls) if Bruce & now if Scott are in it.

The shoes that Kim tripped on at the dinner...yes those have made an appearance on my blog before! The Spring Trends post a did a while back....

ah ha! great minds think alike...me and kim...are now besties! now only if I could start a shoe fund and actually buy them- Louboutin (mega) heel- it is too bad she tripped on them...I will let that slide. god I love her whole outfit at the dinner, she looked stunning. I just love Kim so much!

Whose Side Are You On?

Kourtney & Khloe vs. Kris - They are both kinda right- thats a tie

Khloe vs. Kim - Kim's - she was there for Khloe when she married Lamar after only like a month. And Khloe mentions that Kim is a "relationship girl"- I have to admit that I am the same way...I always have a boyfriend- I am happy that Khloe apologized to her in the end. So funny when she said "I ain't no basketball wife honey, he is a reality star husband" ha! that is so true! I honestly would not know who any of these athlete's are if it wasn't for the Kardashain's, would you?

Rob vs. Kim - Kim again for sure- Wow she looked like really pissed at him when she mentioned he's only is nice to her when he needs something...Idk what his problem has been but all I have to say to him and his attitude is no.

Favorite Kardashian for the season:
I think it's going to be Kourtney....or Kim.

Get Kelly Osbourne's Look - For Less!

While watching Chelsea Lately the other night, Kelly Osbourne was the guest and she looked so cute! her style is so cute and unique- this was my favorite look I have seen in a while, I just had to find out how to replicate that awesome outfit she was wearing! Below is a collage I took the liberty of making (it was so much fun!)-

• Shoes-I am not too sure what/who she's wearing *but* I found those shoes to the right of the picture that I thought were just as awesome-pair of sparkly pumps that look comfy enough to wear considering the platform where the ball of your foot is. Steve Madden's Caryssa Shoe for $132- not extremely cheap but im sure Kelly's are much more expensive

• Necklace- So simple & easy plus it goes with the ribbon theme. I found one just as cute on the Forever 21 site for $4.80 it's called: Opaque Beaded Ribbon Necklace

•  Shirred Khaki Skirt from the Gap to replicate her khaki skirt $18 not bad for a khaki skirt!

• I love the ribbon theme- all different textures and colors of each one I think makes the outfit. As far as the ribbon in her hair, I thinkit looked awesome on her...but she's going on Chelsea Latelyand im...going to the mall or work or to just go and hang out- I dont need that huge thing in my hair so I found these also on the Forever 21 website in a set of two Lace Bow pins. Much more wearable for meand i think it brings a touch of uniqueness with something a little bit different.

• The bag she's wearing is the Mui Mui 1862 Black Sequined Tote-This bag cost $238. I found my bag on Macy's.com with a metallic under-layer shining through the diamond and teardrop perforations on this unique purse from AK Anne Klein. was 89$ but now on sale for $65

• The belt Kelly is wearing is the Linea Pelle Black Wide Sectioned Waist Belt which is up for grabs for around $150 if im not mistaken...ouch...my wallet hurts just thinking about a belt that expensive so I found this Scalloped Stretch Belt on Forever21.com for $6.80. I actually think the cheaper one is cuter! With the Forever 21 Belt the buckle matches the bronze theme going on and it is also a great color blocking piece.  

• Lastly but not least is her awesome top. The top was what really made me love her whole look I think. I love the thick stripes & I wanted to find something with thick stripes because the top is a great color blocker because of that, do you know how hard it is to find a 3 quarter length top with thick stripes? Its really hard haha so I decided to just stick with the LA Made Paulina Stripe top in Black which I found on ShopStyle.com for around $50. What I like about the LA Made top is the sleeves, how they kinda poof at the shoulder- very on trend.

Elizabeth & James is Mark-Kate & Ashley

I have been a huge fan of the Olsen Twins since I was like 3 years old. They have grown as I have grown & they have always been fashion icons in my eyes. Remember the Paris Movie?? I would seriously watch that today if I had it! Me and my cousin used to do our hair and shop for clothes to replicate them. First they came out with a line for wal-mart for teens, when they were teens. Then a few years back, they came out with another line called The Rowe and now they have Elizabeth & James. (those are their other siblings names). The clothes are cute, although the style is categorized as "street" on Boutiques.com, they stand right next to:  Herve Leger, DKNY, Micheal Kors, & Ralph Lauren to name a few & are absolutely holding their own. Here's some stuff I thought was really cute:
