Hard Candy Party Central Glitter NOTW

Seriously, Hard Candy is the first isle I go down to browse in the makeup section at WalMart. They always have eye catching packaging and inventive products. Especially their nail stuff. The only drugstore brand I know of that has a Matte top coat. I like using it over glitters. Like here and here. This spring, they came out with the Candy Sprinkles line, which has a whole range of glitter polishes with pastel, creamy base colors. Remember Cotton Candy Pink?  And again, I don't see any other drugstore brand doing that. When Hard Candy comes out with a glitter polish, *trust* that they are not skimping on the glitter.

Along with the Candy Sprinkles line, Hard Candy also came out with the Crystal Confetti line. A ton of glitter polishes with all kinds of shapes, sizes, and colors in each bottle. The Crystal Confetti line was where Party Central was born.

Party Central is suspended in a clear base with round baby glitters, medium sized hexagon glitters, and large hexagon glitters in different jewel tones. Purple, blue, green, gold, and copper. But what sold me on this polish was the white glitters in the polish. The white glitter's don't really sparkle. I think it adds that extra dimension with those glitters being a completely different finish in conjunction with the other jewel toned glitters that actually sparkle in the light. Aside from all of the other sizes I mentioned the pieces of glitter's are, they have an even bigger sized glitter {hexagon shaped} here and there that are no other color then that striking, opaque white. I mean, I can't. Typing out this paragraph a week later makes me want to take off my nail polish and put Party Central back on. But I don't have any nail polish remover. Moving on....

Your looking at 2 coats of Party Central. I told you, they are not skimping on glitter. It is over top a baby pink nail polish with a cream finish. A nail polish by Nailene. Honestly, I got the Nailene polish at WalMart for 50 cents. There is nail polish on the cap of it and had no price tag, so they practically gave it to me. I believe it was in a french manicure kit because it says "French Manicure" on the bottle. It's nice for a french manicure, yes. It is quite sheer because of that. But who really cares about the Nailene polish?

When it comes to wear, it started chipping after a couple days and that was when I just peeled it off. I do it every time. I need to start wearing a top coat.

Aside from the said nail polish lines Hard Candy decided to come out with, they also have a couple more. Glitterazzi which basically doesn't even look like there is any base in the bottle, clear or creamy. It just looks like straight up glitter. Itzy Glitzy looks like different duo chrome nail polishes which are also glitters. And another, Crushed Chromes, which looks similar to Itzy Glitzy line if you ask me, but just as gorgeous.

Have you tried any of these nail polishes from Hard Candy?

Mind Body Beauty's First Give-Away

R u ready?!

Omg I have been collecting stuff for months now.....haha. Here's the deal. I got my job I am at now back in November and it is the longest standing job I have had and I am so exited that I found somewhere that I can be of service. I actually feel like I bring something to the table here. No, I don't make a ton of money but enough to do some fun things. My blog is one of those things I save money for and this is the type of stuff I spend that money on. I am blessed. Which means I want to bless u all. And I am already collecting stuff for a new give-away. I hope to shoot for the middle of summer with that one. When I first started my blog, it was formerly Meet Makeup. I had a giveaway 2 Christmases ago {wow. that long ago?} when I was Meet Makeup.

In light of GFC being done with at the beginning of July, I figured this was the perfect time to give-away some stuff to encourage everyone to follow me on Bloglovin. That's the catch. Follow me on Bloglovin. I am really bummed about GFC closing down. I think every blogger is nervous that blogger blogs will be forgotten about. Maybe I should switch platforms? Like Wordpress? But I like the community here so if your a blogger like me, I would love to know your thoughts in the comments below.

The Good Stuff

 Physician's Formula
Happy Booster
Remember my CVS haul? That was fun. This was the only thing I paid for thanks to CVS extra bucks. That's another story. I figured this would make a great prize because Physician's Formula is one of my favorite brands, especially their blushes and bronzers. You get two in one. Pretty awesome.

Wet n Wild Trio
Silent Treatment
This is probably of my favorite trio from Wet n Wild. I almost bought a Physician's Formula eyeshadow palette but the Wet n Wild one's are more pigmented. They also really know how to pair colors. I never see an ugly color from them. That Lid shade is to die for. The crease shadow is extremely dark. The brow bone shade is a little more sheer but I use a fluffy blending brush to apply it underneath my brow bone anyways rather than a dense pack-it-on brush. It gives a softer finish that way.

Sweet Spun Sugar Candle
Target
I love these candles. I have a few of them. They have a great scent throw and this one smells amazing. I would say it smells more like a juicy candy rather than cotton candy. I figured this would be the most universal fragrance. I hope you enjoy it! (:

Donna Michelle
Caviar Beads
There is a secret about these that I talk about in the video (: I love these and use these all the time. I only do my bling finger as there just isnt enough to do all 5 nails. But it makes for a killer mani!

Kardashian Kolor {Nicole by OPI}
"Sophisti-Cuties"
This is a fun little try-em-before-you-buy-em type of gift set. I have this set and the pink set and I really like these nail polishes. They dry to a really glossy and hard finish. I love using Khlow had a Lam-Lam with the gold caviar beads. So dang cute!

Sunday Thoughts...

So, I have been meaning to do a 5 For Friday blog where you show 5 things or talk about 5 things on Friday. 2 Friday's have came and went and I didn't get it done! Instead of calling this Five For Sunday {it doesn't have a nice ring to it} Im going with Sunday Thoughts {clearly}. Plus, I have way more than 5 things here. Think of this as a haul. Or review. As always I have went overboard for Mind Body Beauty. It's turned into some weird obsession. Every single thing I buy or make, I feel like I need to take a picture of it before I use it. Then I get too exited and use half of it. My mom knows that basket of new things is off limits until photos are taken. Alex and Phil are used to seeing red and pink streaks down my arm. They know those are swatches and I am not suicidal. Those are my confessions. Let's move on. Although I would be open to do a Behind the Scene's type of blog post for those of you who are wanting some tips, or are just curious. I know I always am.

Anyhow...

I bought the Sally Hansen Nail Polish Strips from 5 and Below for $4. I was going to do a review but I didn't like these. At all. They just didn't work out for me. They did not look smooth or like nail polish. They just looked like a sticker. And they peeled and chipped off within an hour. On the other hand, my bfff Alex loves them. She says she doesn't have to worry about her nails chipping or anything for 2 weeks. So, they may work for you! But not for me.

I have been love Its a Trap-Eze! from China Glaze. It's a really pretty glitter polish with a white milky base. If you apply one coat, that white color turns clear and you have the glitter. More than 2 coats, the white shows up. I have been liking to put it over top Sally Hansen's X-Treme Wear nail polish in White On

I have been also loving this nail combo. China Glaze's It's a Trapeze! and Re-fresh Mint

I bought my mom a just because present. My resolutions had to do with making my world a better place and I am a firm believer that the blessings you give will come back on you ten fold. It says it in the Bible. Even if you don't believe in the Bible, try it anyways. You will feel good about it. Doing things for other people have been making me happy. That's not the only reason I bought my mom an oatmeal colored button-less cardigan. She has been wanting a reverse mullet style throw over for a while {I just made that style name up. You may use it at your own risk. People might think your weird..} I found it at Burlington for like $7! Here's everything else I found at Burlington.

Phil bought me a kitchen play set made out of chocolate for Valentine's day. How adorable and funny is that? You really can't play with it because it will melt. So I did the obvious thing and ate it. I didn't even share. So much for making the world a better place with my whole blessings thing.

Since I have been on a kick with my smoothies, I needed a portable tumbler {I almost spelled tumblr} to take with me to work every morning. They have a whole isle dedicated to to-go tumblers at Big Lots. I found this one for $3. It's been doing the job in style ;)

Omg these mixer melts, scent shots, tarts, whatever you want to call them are so awesome! Scentsational is a brand that you can find at Walmart and they are only a buck or 2. But when you melt them, they will fill up the whole room. Especially this one. It smells like clean laundry and soap. And it is so strong. Like good strong. I melted it in my room and as soon as you hit the steps in my 2 bedroom home, you could smell it. I have went through 7 tea lights and finally it lost it's scent. That's pretty good. I also mixed it with my last piece of Limelight from Tyler Candle Company Mixer Melt. I have been saving Limelight for years because it smells so good. I also love TwentyFourSevenGlam and French Market from Tyler. Lipstick sounds like a fun one too. I found the Tyler Mixer Melts at Hallmark a couple years ago. I should go back and buy more. They are my favorite.

Ever since I found out that these type of hair tie's will not leave your hair with a dent in it, I needed to try it. I am a server at a restaurant and it requires me to have my hair up for the day. Although these hair ties did a better job at not leaving a dent in my hair, I wasn't all that impressed with them. At least they are bright colors and just something different than your run-of-the-mill hair tie. Makes life a little bit more exiting.

Those are my thoughts!

Happy Sunday,
xoxo

Broke Girls Gift Guide + DIY Gift Basket's (Part 1)

Here's the stuff I got for my Mom, Boyfriend, + Best Friend. I figured it would be helpful (or fun) to share all of the gifts I got. As you can tell by the title, I am a broke bitch! But, I know some pretty good ways to save money and make a nice gift out of a few little things. I never say "oh, everyone's budget is $X amount" To me, that's silly because if I can find a great deal that doesn't meet the exact budget, that's fine with me! Nobody is going to know exactly how much you spent on them. It's the thought that count's, people!

This time of the year, they have little gift baskets everywhere....boring! I don't know about you, but I like to make my own! it's so much more fun that way!

Gift #1:
To: Alex.
Alex is my long time best friend who shares the love of stuff with me. Meaning, when we get together we will look online for hours going from nail polish, to jewelry, to dog clothes, to recipes, to ornaments

The girl loves Hello Kitty and anything pink. I found the cookies with strawberry cream, the vanilla and raspberry cotton candy, & the cleansing hand wipes (sweetly scented) all at 5+Below.

Alex shares my love of beauty items, and I can't tell you how many times she has said she wanted a matte bronzer. I got one from Wet n Wild in Princess on sale at CVS. It looks more along the lines of a satin as opposed to a true matte. The good news is that there isn't any chunky, loud glitter.

She swears by the Sally Hansen nail strips and says they will last on your nails for 2 weeks. I found those at 5+Below as well.

She just recently moved into a house and is re-doing her room pink and black. The wall decals were perfect and I found those at Big Lots. I didn't realize until recently that they were chalkboard(s) and came with some chalk! How cute!

She really tries her best to stay on a healthy track. Last year, I bought my dad a juice and smoothie book and her and I sat around for like an hour writing all the recipes down, haha! Plus, I feel like when you have things like that that your exited to use and put into action, your more likely to do so and in turn stay healthy + reach your goals! Plus, she loves smoothies. Another 5+Below purchase.

The tumbler seemed to go hand in hand!  Not to mention, we are both always stealing each others cups to take with us on the go. One with a straw and lid is perfect on the go and something she actually needed. I found some other tumbler's at 5+Below and Wal-Mart but none were as cheap or as cute as this one. Here's to another great buy at Big Lots!

total= $24
Gift #2
To: Mom
Hardest to shop for. Good thing she gave me a small list I could refer to. The things on her list included Clinique foundation and lotion & some bras. I bought those, but I will say I splurged a little bit on her. That woman deserves it!  Not that Alex or Phil do not, but yah know. Im partial to the lady that I was inside of....moving on. Here's the rest of the cheaper, stocking stuffer, type of gifts.

She needed a new perfume and when I smelled Angel in the store, I swore it smelled like popsicles! Idk wtf but the deal was 2 for $15 at Victoria's Secret plus I had a $10 off of any purchase. I paid $5 for 2 mini's, which makes 1 $2.50.

My mom's name is Penny and she loves anything having to do with the name. Since Lucky Penny from Essie was already on my wishlist, I figured I would buy it for her and then get a chance to use it later too! But, when I compared that with China Glaze's Magical, I couldn't pass it up. It is more of a taupe and definitely more cooler in color and has a sparkly+metallic finish. Im Sold. It's all mine. Wait! This is for my mom.....Oh yeah, from Ulta.

Joico shampoo and conditioner I have heard really, really good things! It is also really, really expensive! I felt like such a luxurious product, fit perfect for a Christmas present for my mother because she would never splurge on it without ever trying it to begin with. They have a deal going on at Ulta, 5 things for $10. This shampoo and conditioner (could also be used as a deep conditioner) were included so pretty good deal.

A Notepad. Always comes in handy. Found at Big Lots. They have these everywhere. You guys already know!

Eco Tools Makeup Brushes were something she really needed! She has 1 blush brush and she always is using mine so I figured know she has some of her own (: I bought these at Marc's which is local but you can get these at any drugstore.

Big Sexy Hair Root Pump was a part of the 5 for $10 at Ulta. Can't hurt.

Redken Shine Flash 2. Ever since I got this in my Birchbox months back, she was the one that used it up! I have had this present on the back burner for a while. Full price for the smaller can is $8. Oh well. I guess some things are just worth it. I got it at Ulta.

Milani Lipstick in Orange Gina was a part of the CVS beauty clearance. She loves her corals. Hurry and check your local CVS! They may still have things marked down! Here's what I got!

Aloe Vera towelettes were found at Big Lots for $1. That is how my mom likes to take off her makeup. Good deal.
 total $34.50

 dont forget about my video!
if your wanting more gift ideas & if you like watching videos, check it out! I hope I have time to post part 2! finger's crossed! If not, have a Merry Christmas!

Ok! I am going to stop here! I can officially wrap these babies! Ill go for part 2 in the next couple days. Fingers crossed that we get just a little bit of sun while im off the clock so I can photograph the rest! I am off to make the rest of my cookies! There will be a blog post for that too! Can I fit all of this in before Tuesday? I hope so! The holiday season isn't over until January officially in my book, anyways.

And alleluia! The world is still turning and we didn't get sucked into a black hole! Thank you Jesus! I knew you were gunna wait it out! lol

Happy Holidays! Don't forget to slow down and enjoy it!

if you need more idea's, go to my DIY Gift Basket's blog post from last year. I did some different stuff!

Dollar Tree Finds!

I always forget about Dollar Tree. I remember when I was a little girl my Grandma would let my cousin Kelly and I go in and pick 1 toy after our picnic at the park every week. We always used to get the brown lunch box bag labeled "grab bag" or "surprise bag" or something. Then we would be upset because the toy sucked. Dammit.

Donna Michelle Nail Art
How fun are these? 8 mini bottles come in 1 pack. Thinking back, I maybe should have bought 2 packs of the same designs because these mini bottles look like they would maybe be enough for 1 hand- only some of them though. Not every bottle has the exact same amount as the next. Some are filled to the brim and others look like it may be enough for just 1 finger nail. I think I will just do my bling finger with them.  I was surprised to find out that the little bottles they came in weren't flimsy. I think they might be glass. If not, it's that plastic that feels like glass. I got 3 different packs: 1 with caviar beads, 1 with flakies, & 1 with little shapes (stars, hearts). Im looking forward to messing with these.

L.A. Colors in Bronze Glow
This might be the best deal at the Dollar Tree. I initially got it because I have been on this bronzed highlight kick. Since this was more of a medium golden color with shimmer, I figured it might make a better highlight than bronzer. I am fair-medium skin tone, leaning more toward fair. I think I will need to wait for the summer to make it look right. If your a little darker (medium) than me, you could pull it off better than me. The pigmentation is pretty good and because of that & the color it gives off really makes a beautiful eyeshadow! I have worn it a couple times on my eyes so far and I am happy with it. Looks really pretty on my lid over top Barely Beige

What I even went in for in the first place was some tea lights and to see if they had a medium brown hair dye I could use on one piece of hair that I highlighted too close to the root and really needed to be fixed! To my surprise, they actually did! I was a little nervous using my $1 hair dye but since it was just 1 piece of hair, I really didn't wanna buy a name brand hair dye for $7 to throw almost all of it out. And guess what, guys? It actually wasn't a bad hair dye! If your in a bind, tight for money, your roots are growing in, or you messed up some highlighted pieces (oops!), check it out! Not a bad deal at all. I was really, really surprised!

I think I am going to have to go back in a couple weeks and grab some stuff for my stocking stuffers for my family, friends, and you guys! I am having a Christmas giveaway here! Soon, soon!

Any good stuff you have found at the Dollar Tree recently?

xx,
Erica

Lucky Penny w/ Fireside Glow

One trend i've been loving in the nail polish world this season, is the metallic finish. I also have always loved the ombre nail effect. Why not do 2 trends in 1 mani with perfect fall colors, youknowhatimean? That is what I did!

The color underneath is called Lucky Penny by Avon. You could call it a metallic finish, but as Avon put it, it is a sequin finish which I thought was a cuter way to say it! It think it would look like really tiny micro sequins if I were to put it under a microscope. Sequin finish/metallic finish/ sparkly glittery finish, whatever. It's just pretty. My mom actually picked this out. She wanted it because her name is Penny. It turned out to be gorgeous!

The glitter over top is another mom pick (I got it in my stocking last Christmas!) and I knew it would go hand in hand with Lucky Penny. It is China Glaze's Fireside Glow. It's a pretty red with really tiny glitter throughout.  If you have never tried a China Glaze glitter nail polish and you love glitters that are extremely opaque, then I strongly urge you to try any China Glaze glitter. Just pick one. It doesn't matter. As long as it's China Glaze, your glitter will be opaque.

If your new to the ombre glitter mani, it's simple. Starting at the tip of your nail, paint some glitter there. Wait 10 seconds and then bring it down, with the brush of course, toward to cuticle. That's pretty much it!

You haven't already seen Nothing Else Metals from Essie here, go check it out! Another really cool Metallic finish polish!

Have a great weekend!

Essie A Cut Above + Nothing Else Metals = A Match Made in Heaven!

Hey! I cannot tell you how long I have wanted Essie's A Cut Above. It have wanted this since my Rose Gold Phase but never picked it up because I just couldn't justify paying $8 for a bottle of polish. It wasn't until a week or two ago when I passed it again for the 13th time at my local grocery store. I have just been lusting. Dreaming up different ways I can use it. (blogging about beauty has really done something to my head!) Needless to say, I picked it up and didn't look back! So glad I didn't!

Nothing Else Metals has been seen before on Mind Body Beauty. My b/f's mom Barbara, gave it to me! I never like picking things up in her house for fear she will just put it in my purse for me to take home! A giver, she is! But I don't mind! ;)

A Cut Above from the Luxe Effects Line:
"a shattered pink diamond glitz" is how Essie herself describes it. I like to think of it as my own personal rose gold (: Unlike most (if not all) China Glaze glitters, A Cut Above is a top coat as opposed to an opaque glitter nail polish you would only need 1-2 coats of to cover your nail. However, it has more glitter in it than other glitter top coats you might find. Such as Party of 5 Glitters from Wet n Wild if your familiar. I personally think that A Cut Above has just enough glitter and is the perfect top coat. I wouldn't have it any other way!

Nothing Else Metals from the Mirror Metallics Line:
"a carefree lavender metallic" is Essie's description. It doesn't seem very lavender to me. It is more like a silver duo-chrome with purple undertones to my eyes. You can decide for yourself.

Your Looking at 1 coat of Nothing Else Metals and 2 coats of A Cut Above:

A while back I seen A Cut Above used over a duo chrome and thought it looked seriously stunning. Looking at both of them head on, you would never think they were a match made in heaven.

Next time your sifting through your collection, take a good look at each polish (or eye shadow) next to each other, if your finding it hard to come up with a good pair. I bet you will find many you wouldn't even think of other wise!

If you missed out on 1 of my favorite lip pairings, feel free to click me!

As you can tell by the front page of my blog, I have been a little obsessive with the nail polish. I have a bunch of other non-nail-polish blogs coming up really soon! and a video! If your newer to the video world link me up and we can be youtube friends! This is my youtube channel

Shout out to my Hello Cotton people! I can't believe this blog post made it into one of the most popular beauty blog posts there on Sept. 7th! I was just going through them, like I do almost every week to find some new blogs and could not believe I seen my blog up there! I know I am the biggest dork because I have been walking on cloud nine! If you have never checked out Hello Cotton and you love all kinds of blogs, check it out for real! I love that site (:

Thank you

Shabby Chic Nail Art

Hey! Ok, I know that every other post has been about nails but I simply can't help myself. I have found some really good nail blogs + I have been Pinning Nailspiration like crazy! I will share the blogs later, but for now, let's get on with my NOTW!

And by the way, if your looking for more NOTW's here on MBB, search NOTD's because I used to be the girl that could never leave her polish on for a whole day, hence the title Nail Of The Day.

The pink polish is by Wet n Wild. The label really wore off there. It's called Tickled Pink.
Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in Mint Sorbet
Art Deco nail art by L.A. Colors. There colors do not have names. There brushes come to a fine tip which is how I got the thin lines going up my nails. I am sure you've seen these polishes before.

I think the pastel colors along with the stripes and heart really makes this shabby chic! Don't you?

Here's some links:

Nail'd It. She always does.
OMG Noodles She does a lot of fun matte  glitter mani's. My new obsession!
Makeup Withdrawal: More fun nail art
Im Feeling Nail-Venturous Cannot leave her out!

My Pinterest
My Nailspiration Board on Pinterest

on another note: do you guys like my updated side bar? let me know what you think! I am still trying to figure out how to get rid of the padding! If you know how, let me know in the comments, please! I have tried 20 different codes and it's a no go!

thank you for reading!

Nicole by OPI Kardashian Nail Polish

From the words of Karen Smith from Mean Girls, my nail beds suck! haha!

If you decide you don't wanna click on this blog, but you see it in your feed, I wanted to fill you in on a sale going on at Ulta. You can grab a set of your own Kardashian mini nail polishes for $2 at Ulta. That makes each polish 50 cents! Just a heads up! They have "Sophisti-Cuties" with deeper colors, & "Celeb-Bitties" with pinks & reds.  I decided to grab "Sophisti-Cuties".

I want to give you a review on this because they are good points and bad points with this little deal. Obviously the price is nice, but then again you get what you pay for. Each polish has 1/8 fl. oz. that means they are not that big. I would say you can get around 7 manicures with it....maybe more? maybe less? Thats a round about.

The good thing is that you get to try the line of polishes to see if you like the formula/color on your skin before you grab a bigger one.

The formula of the nail polish is ok. The first coat looked really streaky & sheer. Once your on your second coat, it starts to look even. After the 3rd coat, it looks opaque.

The polishes lasted on my nails 2 days without chipping. Every other polish I have used will only last that long anyway so nothing really special there. What did stand out is the fact that it is pretty shiny once it dries down.

Now for the bad part's.They come with a really small brush. Because I am used to bigger brushes, I wipe off the excess from the brush into the bottle. With the mini's, I realized I shouldn't do that because the brush is so small, you really don't have any excess.

One thing that really was a deal breaker for me was the fact that there isn't a shaker ball inside the polishes. I think that is a necessity because when I don't shake up my nail polish, it gets really think and harder to work with. If it had the ball inside it, I think you could get a few more mani's because of it.

Let's brake it down for you in bullet point fashion. If you want more info in the bullet points, simply see above

Good Points:
-Your paying 50 cents a piece at Ulta for 4 mini polishes.
-The formula is not crap. It's not the best either. It's just so- so.
-Once it dries, it is nice and shiny.

Bad Points:
-Small brush, which takes a second to get used to.
-No shaker ball. That means the polish will go bad much quicker.

NOTW: Shabby Chic Floral Print

No, this is not a nail sticker. Yes, it is extremely easy to do! Do you guys visit The Beauty Department? You should if you like nail art! That is where I got this idea from!

Nail Polishes used: left to right: SH White On, SH Green With Envy, SH Sun Kissed, Avon Speed Dry in Strawberry. This picture is very true to color.

Quick Review: I hear a lot that it is hard to find an opaque white nail polish. Sally Hansen's White On was quite opaque after the first coat! I did 2 coats just because I always do, but if your in the market for a good white, here's your polish! Plus, it's only like $2.

You will also need: Nail Polish Remover, a piece of paper, & A small eyeliner brush you do not use. They used a normal paint brush. Just make sure your brush is tiny or has a fine point. I used an angled liner brush that I got with the Wet n Wild cream liner. It worked perfectly. I used the very tip of it and had no problems whatsoever.
  1. Paint your nails the base color (white)
  2. When that dries, add a dab of the first color you want to use (pink) to create your flowers on the piece of paper.
  3. Pour a little bit of the nail polish remover in the cap so it is easily accessible.
  4. Dip your brush into the nail polish remover
  5. Transfer the nail polish remover you have on your brush to the pink nail polish on the piece of paper. Mix it together.
-The idea here is to mix 1 part nail polish with 1 part nail polish remover. Once you did so, you will create little flowers on your nails, obviously. The mix will make it look like a faded/watercolor type of floral print.-

        6. Use a dabbing motion when your creating the flowers as opposed to a sweeping motion. That will make them look faded even more so and you may even be able to skip the last 2 steps.
        7. Once your done with your first color (pink), repeat steps 2-6 for the next 2 colors.

-It doesn't mention to change out the nail polish remover with each step, but I think that would be ideal. You will notice the nail polish remover will be tinted the colors of your nail polish and we wanna stay away from mixing colors at all costs!-

-I used the same brush for all the colors. If your going to do the same, just be sure that your wiping the brush off really well between each color. I didn't use any soap/water/brush cleanser to clean it off. I simply dipped the brush into the nail polish remover, then wiped it off with a tissue until there was nothing on it.-

        8.  Now your going to add a dab of the white nail polish on the piece of paper. Mix 1 part white nail polish and 2 or 3 parts nail polish remover.
        9. Make the slightest little dot at the center of each flower with the white mixture. If you have used enough nail polish remover, the white will slowly spread over the flower when you put the drop down, which in turn makes it look faded. I only did this step with some of the flowers. (see step 6)
