April Ipsy Review and A Blog Make Over!!!

Hi! As you can probably tell, I re-did my blog! Yay! I haven't changed it up since early last year, which is a shame. It got to the point where I didn't even want to post anything on it- as you can probably tell again! So yeah I'm pretty excited about it. There are a few finishing touches {like centering my sidebar. I had a code for it awhile back and then one day, the code stopped working for some reason}. So what do you think?! I love it.

Ok, now for the Ipsy review. I literally love the Glam Bag. You get 5 beauty products for only $10 which is a steal. I realize my blog has been taken over by Ipsy things lately. I blog about what I love and Ipsy is just the best.

Urban Decay
24/7 Velvet Glide On Pencil // Black Velvet
This month, the Urban Decay eye liner alone is worth more than the bag. It has been some time since I have worn black in the inner rim of my eye. I used to all the time then I got comfortable with brown eye liner up top, nude liner on the bottom, and the usual black liquid liner on the lash line. Today, I used this liner in my inner rim and on the upper lash line. I didn't want to over do it, so I used a matte light brown in the crease and a matte creamy white all over the lid (both shadows from the Stila Dancing With The Stars palette) and it looks really simple but also polished and finished. This liner is a velvet finish, which reminds me of a matte finish but once applied, I can't tell any sort of difference of the finish of this and any other black liner I have. The wear is pretty good- you have a few seconds to play with it- weather you want to smudge it or what but once it sets, it pretty much stays. I did have some product collecting underneath my bottom lash line by the middle of the day but it was nothing I couldn't wipe away. Other then that, it is nice and black and easy to use.

Cailyn
Tinted Lip Balm // Apple Pink
I have gotten a Cailyn product in my Ipsy bag before. I would have liked it if it was in a different color but they make pretty good quality stuff. The format is a pot of product, with a lid and attached to the lid is a nice lip brush. I found the lip brush is extremely nice for lining your lips with the product before hand. I ended up filling in the rest of my lips with it too but that can be a little time consuming considering the size of the brush. The product itself is more or less a lipstick in a pot. The consistency is thin and is pigmented even at that. it didn't take much to get pigment and it didn't dry out my lips either. It's neither hydrating nor drying so even though it is labeled as a lip balm, I wouldn't consider it one. I think of a balm as hydrating. The color is a peachy nude. This color would be perfect for a medium skin tone- it looks a little dark (not too dark) on me, but also like nothing I have. Side note: The name Apple Pink is so cute.

edit:
me wearing Apple Pink. It actually looks better than I thought it did.

City Color
Mousse Eyeshadow // White Gold
at first glance, I thought this was a fine micro shimmer powder. Once I touched it, I realized it was mousse. The consistency is weird! Not like other mousse's I have tried in the past- this one is wet and it has that silicone feeling to it like a primer would. Really strange! As you can see in the swatch, it is a very pretty duo chrome shimmer. I have yet to wear it and honestly, I am a little frightened to wear it. Every time I do the swatch-and-rub test I get shimmer everywhere! It doesn't dry down to anything. I think it tries to be a cream-to-powder but it fails. Maybe I am applying too much? All I know is that I need to double up on the primer and use a very thin layer when I finally use this. I will probably just pop this on the center of the lid- anywhere else may just be too messy and unforgiving. But the color is so pretty!

St. Tropez
Gradual Tan Anti-Ageing // Multi Action Face
This is apparently gradual face tanner with anti-aging properties. I used it once and I am a little intimidated by it. I don't necessarily want my face tanner than my body. I use bronzer and that is usually enough for me. So yah know this isn't something that I would repurchase or recommend. If it was a gradual body tanner it would be a different story.

Such a Tease
So Seductive // Lashes
I've said it before and I will say it again- I am not one for fake lashes! I wear them for events and that is about it. My cousins wedding is coming up so I am going to try them out then. Ill post a photo of my FOTD on my Instagram! {@MeetMissJackson}

March Ipsy Review and FOTD

I have never been a firm believer in apologizing for not publishing on any particular blog. It's your own thing, it isn't your job and I feel as if you can post or not post whenever you want. But, not publishing regular blogs here just feels weird. I am trying to find a balance between YouTube and Mind Body Beauty and obviously I have yet to find it. However, this is a great start! From here on out, you wont hear any excuses about why I publish or don't publish. I will hopefully find some kind of balance. To be total honest I have been inspired to start publishing here on a regular basis. I just don't want to neglect my channel. Either way, I will always have a creative outlet. When the time comes that I suddenly stop using those outlets to my benefit, some one look into where I have been and my mind set. The day i stop having a creative outlet is the day you can declare me dead. So, please go subscribe to my YouTube channel! It's the same stuff from here, only it's there. I used to hate reading these types of messages on blogs because frankly I didn't really care. I just wanted to read the content and I hope you feel the same. This is officially the last "excuse" you will ever hear from me.

Ok! Now that I have that out of the way, I want to talk about my March Ipsy bag! I honestly love this subscription. I don't need to tell you all exactly what it is all about, but if you need to know more than this, click, click, click!

In the video, I review and swatch everything but one thing....

Klorane Eye Patches
I have never in my life tried eye patches. I have done tea bags on my eyes and it really reduces swelling and redness. Maybe I should do a blog post on that one day. These patches are marketed as soothing and relaxing and with soothing cornflower. I had no clue cornflower was soothing before this. You are to take the patches off of the paper and apply to the contour of your eyes {right underneath} for 20 minutes. The patch had a sticky gel-like consistency but it was nothing that was irritating. In fact, the eye patches felt really cooling- minty, really. I left them on for around a half hour and while they felt nice on, I didn't see too much of a difference. My under eyes still looked red {as usual} but they did feel a little bit softer. These were fun to try but I don't think they are a must.

On the other hand, the Bare Minerals Rebel Lip Gloss and Be a Bombshell Eyeshadow Quad in Bora Bora were a huge hit! Here's my Face of the Day using each of those products:

FOTD:
I used the Bare Minerals lip gloss in Rebel, that being the only thing on my lips. On the eyes, I used Rock Bottom {burnt red} on the lid, Risky Business {gold} right on the center of the lid, Starlet {brown} in the crease, and Bora Bora {teal} on the bottom lash line. I used a nude eye pencil in the waterline, a brown on the upper lash line, and my favorite liquid liner from Milani called Eye Tech. It's in a gold tube. Its amazing. Lastly I used Physician's Formula's Organic Wear mascara. I really like it- Review to come on that soon!

That's it for now!

January Ipsy Review

Hello again!

Just when I thought I wanted to switch from Ipsy to Birchbox, I changed my mind for the time being. Ipsy is great but I miss the idea of more higher end products that Birchbox offers, along with the amount of higher end skin care you can try. I also miss spending my Birchbox points on things on the site. I got some pretty good stuff for free from the site I bought with my points a while back. Maybe I'll switch next month.

This month's Ipsy was really good. I have been using almost everything on a daily basis from this months bag. Today I filmed some b-roll of my new Ipsy items for an upcoming tutorial I am going to film {it will be my first makeup tutorial!}. So soon you will get a chance to see everything in action. For now, let's talk about everything.

Mica Beauty
Tinted Lip Balm #6 Fiesta
I have received a loose eye shadow from Mica Beauty before in a previous Ipsy bag and it is still one of my favorite shadows to use. This tinted lip balm is also really great. I absolutely love the color! It's a cool toned mauve pink and I most likely would have never bought for my own self. That is the beauty of subscription boxes. It's a great way to branch out and surprise yourself. I am fair skinned and this comes off as a much deeper color and it works great for these colder months. I have been loving deeper toned lip colors lately. Aside from the color, the formula is very thin but extremely pigmented - not really lip balmy. A little goes a long way. Because of it's thin consistency, I tend to go over board and apply too much which it can accentuate the lines and cracks in my lips. The down side is the packaging.  I can't bring it with me and apply it just anywhere. I apply it with my fingers and because of that, it can get a little messy. It will last on my lips for a couple hours but will eventually fade away.

Elizabeth Mott
Smooth Shadow Creamy Eye Pencil
Penny
This is another brand that I only of from Ipsy. This is a really pretty shimmery copper eye liner and I have been applying it underneath my bottom lash line and in my inner corner as well as on my upper lash line right above darker eye liner to brighten and accentuate my eyes. It seems to brighten or bring attention really well used this way. I can see myself also using this right on the balls of my lids to brighten that way too, like you would an eye shadow. It doesn't do very well at all in the water line. No pigment will really transfer. It isn't the best, most pigmented, most long wearing eye liner I have ever tried. Also not the worst. Then again, I am not even sure if it is supposed to be used as an eye liner. The name and format do not match each other.

Healthy Sexy Hair
Leave in Conditioner
I am not big on leave in conditioner- with one exception from Paul Mitchell . I am, however, partial to anything that can restore health to my otherwise over processed blonde hair.  Since I use so many products, it's important to me that my hair doesn't feel like I do or filmy. This doesn't leave any kind of film and I was really surprised at how much I loved this. It acts as a moisturizer {or conditioner} and really made my hair soft. Now I don't feel so bad about using up PM Forever Blonde Dramatic Repair - this can replace it. I read that this also has a mild protein in it and protein is really good for over processed hair. It has a very spa type of scent to it. It almost reminds me of the Aveda products. This stuff is really great.

Absolute
Make-Up Cleansing Tissues
My absolute favorite eye makeup remover is from Avon. But to be honest, I never use a face makeup remover. I usually just wash my face or will use a toner to take off my makeup. These were really nice for taking off my whole face at the end of the day. They are really soft too. I really like using them. I think I need to buy some makeup wipes for the days when I am too lazy to wash my face.

3 in 1
Revolution
I was excited to see this in my bag because I have been missing trying skin care from Birchbox. This is a toner, serum, and moisturizer. I am not really sure how that is supposed to work. I can understand the serum and moisturizer part. As for the toner.....? I wouldn't say this product is anything like a toner. It does have the consistency of a serum and moisturizer mixed. It feels a little oily on my skin and that isn't necessarily a bad thing but is much better to be used at night to repair your skin because of that. Adding foundation on top this may not work so well. As far as a serum goes, you pretty much have to keep on using it to see any changes but I have no clue what this is supposed to be a serum of or for. It didn't come with any explanation. I will keep using it and review it once it's gone but for now, it's not doing anything bad or good. Except for leaving an oily residue. But it doesn't break me out. It's nothing special. Maybe if you have extremely dry skin it might be good for you but I am not standing by that statement. It's just a thought.

here's the swatches of the tinted lip balm and the eye pencil.

thank you for reading!

Whats in my Ipsy Bag || Sept

I love Ipsy bags. I say this every month, but I like them better than Birchbox for the most part because I get mainly makeup. But I kind of miss the Birchbox skin care stuff. And I also miss racking up points to buy stuff with them. Birchbox has more high end stuff, most of which is deluxe sized samples. Ipsy is all full sized drug store stuff, mainly.

This month, I must say, wasn't the very best month. In fact it was my least favorite bag out of the 4 I have purchased. There are some really good points and some bad points...

It's So Big:
Elizabeth Mott
This mascara is the best thing. It is officially one of my favorite mascara's. I think I may even like it better than my holy grail Mally's Volumizing Mascara. I have been using the later all year thanks to this kit I bought last Christmas. Just like Mally's Volumizing Mascara, It's So Big knows how to volumize and lengthen really well. I can use two coats and it won't clump and my lashes will still look full and long. MVM can get a little clumpy after the second coat. Right when I pulled the wand out of the tube, I noticed the consistency of It's So Big. It was really, really creamy. Unlike anything I have ever tried. Another point I want to make is that it can really hold a curl unlike anything I have tried. At the end of the day when it was time to take off my makeup, I noticed that my lashes were still curled. Almost like I applied my makeup an hour before. This stuff is bomb.

Eyeshadow in Purple
NYX
NYX is one of my favorite brands for lipstick but I have never tried any of their eyeshadows, surprisingly. This is a nice semi-shimmery pinkish purple eyeshadow called "Purple". I have been liking using this on the bottom lash line the past few days and I even used it in my inner corner last night for a quick pop over my eyeshadow that was already there. It's not the most pigmented but it isn't the worst either.

Kohl Eye Pencil in Obsidian
Starlooks
I have tried the Starlooks lip liner and I really like it. This eyeliner is more than what I thought it would be. It is pigmented and goes onto the inner rim smoothly. It isn't the blackest black or anything. What I don't like about it is that it seems to travel underneath my eyes and makes me look a little raccoon-y.

Taupe Brow Pencil
Victoria Jackson
I love this the most for the name. My last name is Jackson, after all. I have been using it and liking it. I find it is a really good color for my brows being that I am a very light blonde. Use a very light hand with it! You will see in the swatch how pigmented it is. That isn't a good thing with an eye brow pencil. I don't want to look like I drew my eyebrows on with a sharpie.

Fantabulous Lipstick in Honeycrisp
J. Cat
When I first opened it, I thought it could have been a concealer. It's not, it's totally a lipstick. I do love my nude colors and with a light hand and a little blotting after application, it can look nice. Even with someone with such light skin like me. As for the formula, it is nice. Doesn't dry out my lips but also isn't really the most creamy lipstick. It certainly isn't my first pick in nudes. My perfect nude is Pop Beauty's Rose Romance Lip Crayon.

Here's the swatches.
Left to right:  Lipstick, Eyeshadow, Brow Pencil, Eyeliner

Here's a very yellow FOTD but it's all I got. Why didn't I stand in front of the window like usual? I thought the first picture was way cuter but this isn't about me! It's about that mascara. The second photo shows it a little better. I am also wearing the brow pencil, lipstick, eye liner, and purple eyeshadow on my lower lash line.

So obviously this wasn't the best of the Ipsy bag's. But I absolutely loved It's So Big. You guy's gotta try it.

What was your favorite thing from this month's Ipsy bag?

xoxo

August Ipsy Products Review

Better late than never, right? Truth is, I wanted to give myself some time before I started writing all about everything. I find that when I give you a first impression type of blog post, I tend to regret what I said about it a week of two later. My opinion is always changing anyhow and I would rather review these things than haul these things. Every blog is hauling the Ipsy stuff. I actually really like to read and watch the Ipsy hauls. They are what made me want to sign up for Ipsy in the first place. However, I thought I would do what I used to do with Birchbox and review everything. It's more helpful, right?  That's a long winded explanation! Let's move on...

Micheal Todd True Organics
Jojoba Charcoal Facial Scrub {$18}
I always hear different beauty vloggers and bloggers talking about this skin care line. I have always had it on my wishlist, I just never bought it.  I use Proactiv on a daily basis and have a ton of it, so this face wash was just a wish and not on my shopping list.  It is black. Strange. It is for all skin types and is said to draw out impurities. My skin is combination skin. It is oily and dry and it tends to break out a lot. Even though it is a scrub, it is very gentle on the skin. Gentler than Proactiv. My face feels soft after I use it. Along with the exfoliator in with it, the rest of the formula turns into a foam, not like Proactiv. It is a really good face wash/scrub. I would consider buying this the next time I am out of my Proactiv face wash. I wouldn't normally say something like that so soon in regards to skin care, but this stuff is pretty awesome. It has also been keeping my spots at bay pretty well. All of those things combined, I am sold.

Pacifica
Alight BB Cream {$16}
I talked about the Coola Tinted Moisturizer that Ipsy sent out last month. I mentioned how I liked it and was the best tinted moisturizer/BB cream I have ever tried, but doesn't wow me. This one on the other hand is great. It has a nice cream finish and doesn't feel too liquidy and like it is sliding off of my face. It has a nice finish to it. It really does blur imperfections and makes my face and skin tone look even. It doesn't cover up my freckles. Honestly, it gives a glow to my face without it being all sparkly. You know those BB creams I am talking about with that sheen to them. {I'm looking at you, Tarte!} Ugh, I hate that finish. To me, this is the perfect BB cream. Being light and airy, and actually covering up imperfections while making my face look fresh. This BB cream has that special something that I didn't even know was possible. Ok, that sounds so dumb. But it's true. Spring of 2014, this will be on my list.

Urban Decay Lipstick
Anarchy {$22}
If you know me, you know I love bright lipsticks and pink lipsticks. This was right up my alley. It's a very pigmented bright pink that doesn't dry out my lips. That quality is hard to find in a bright lipstick. Because of that, it is the best bright lipstick I have tried. I have never gave a second look to any Urban Decay lipsticks. I have a gloss from UD that I love and now Anarchy is joining my collection of UD lip products. I have yet to meet one I don't like. Even though I like it, I probably won't purchase it. I do not have 1 high end lipstick and if I ever bought one, I would buy one that is more or less wearable for any day, any season, and for any look. I have so many bright pink lipsticks and you can find some really good ones at the drugstore. Maybelline's Fuchsia Flash is almost the exact color of Anarchy. Anarchy is a little deeper in color. The only thing that separates this from the rest is the fact that it stays creamy.

Mica Beauty
Shimmer Powder in Bronze {$10}
Wow. This is so pretty. Since I got it, I have been using it everyday on my lid. I just tap my finger on the cap and then press it onto my eye lid. I get a nice, rich, duo chrome bronze every single time using that simple method. Sometimes metallic duo chrome eye shadows can be deceiving. They look really pretty in the pan but don't deliver that color onto the eye. This one does not have that problem at all. Granted, I have yet to use a brush with it but my finger works so well with it. I also never get that much fall out, if any fall out. I love this stuff.

Pixi
Lash Boosting Mascara {$17}
I have always wanted to try Pixi. All of their stuff is so cute! This is a deluxe sized sample of mascara. Because of that, the wand is smaller. If I were able to try it with a bigger, normal sized wand I might like this a lot better. Or maybe not, actually, considering that the mascara tends to transfer onto my lid- big time. I have been liking it my for bottom lashes because of those things. Comparing it to my all time favorite mascara, Mally's Volumizing Mascara, Pixi's doesn't make my lashes as full or as long as they would be if I was using my Mally favorite. Pixi's Lash Boosting Mascara makes my lashes longer and volumized, yes. But only to a certain degree. It makes my lashes more long than voluminous. Maybe I am spoiled with my Mally mascara. If it didn't transfer onto my lid so much I might really love it. It's good but not great.

Whoopsie! Almost forgot to include the swatches.

From left to right:
Pacifica BB Cream, Urban Decay Anarchy, and Mica Shimmer Powder in Bronze.

I wanted to give you a "swatch" of the BB cream blended out. So where the swatch used to be of the BB cream, it is now a blended out swatch. Not the greatest blending job but you can kind get the idea. From here, it looks shimmery but there is no shimmer in it. I swear! lol

I have really been loving getting the Ipsy bags each month. Birch Box was great because after building up points, you got to get free full sized products. I also miss trying out all the skin care. But, as you can see I got a really nice Micheal Todd face scrub to try out. I find myself actually using these Ipsy products on a daily basis. Not to mention the company was founded my Michelle Phan, debatably, the original beauty blogger.

thank you for reading!

July Ipsy Bag Review

This is the second month that I have gotten the Ipsy bag. Last year, I was using Birchbox. I wrote a review every month about it. I loved Birchbox for the simple fact that you could build up points to buy really expensive products with them. For every review, you got 10 points. 100 points = $10 towards your purchase. Every 2 months I would end up with $10 worth of points. Almost like I got the sample boxes for free. I bought a ton of stuff with my points. I got some really awesome stuff from Birchbox: Laura Gellar Baked Blush n Brighten, and a Stila shadow single to name a couple. But I love Ipsy because your not paying the $10 a month for a toss up between samples and maybe some full size items. Your getting around 5 products every month. Most of which are full sized. And all makeup and hair. Let's take a look at the things I got this month:

BH Cosmetics
California Collection
Eyeshadow Trio
It says that these are eyeshadow samples but as you can see, your getting a good amount of product. I love California so naturally, I loved this palette. I have never tried BH cosmetics and I have heard they are pretty good. Once I swatched these, I noticed the swatches weren't all that great. The colors itself are gorgeous but I have tried better eye shadow in my days. Even at the drugstore. So yeah 1 out of 5, im giving this a 2.5.

so as you can see they aren't crazy pigmented.

Big Sexy Hair
Weather Proof
Humidity Resistant Spray
This is another deluxe sized sample. I have curly hair. I have a ton of hair. My hair is prone to frizziness. When I used this the couple times I did, I can't say I noticed a difference in my hair. It's not that it weighs my hair down either, it just doesn't do anything. It smells really nice but I know of better products to combat frizziness. Paul Mitchell Skinny Serum or John Frieda Frizz-Ease are the best for that problem. Im giving this product a 2 out of 5. It smells good, but other than that I don't see a point to it.

Pop Beauty
Pouty Pop Crayon
Rose Romance
This is a full sized lip crayon. It has a faint mint scent and is a gorgeous rosy, mauve, nude color. If your looking for a pink based nude that borders more on the nude side, this is the crayon for you. I would describe this as a hydrating lip cream. It doesn't feel sticky or dry. It feels nice on the lips and has great pigmentation. I am giving this baby a 5 out of 5. I really like this.

Benefit
Benetint
This is a sample. I'll call it deluxe because you can get more than one use out of it for sure. However the full size product is .42 oz. This sample is .08 oz. I have never tried anything from Benefit! Isn't that crazy? As an intro to the brand, I am impressed. This has a rosy scent to it and you can use it on your cheeks or your lips. I have tried Stainiac from The Balm and you had to work quick with it. It didn't blend into a pretty rosy tint like Benetint does. Benetint is so easy to use and blends out beautifully. I am giving this a 5 out of 5 because of that.

Coola
Mineral Sunscreen
Tinted Moisturizer
I know this brand is expensive! This is absolutely a sample. I will probably be able to get 5 or 6 uses out of it. It has a strange scent and that scent isn't sunscreen. I can get past that though. It is a normal tinted moisturizer as far as im concerned. Light coverage. It more or less blurs imperfections. It doesn't feel as oily or greasy as other tinted moisturizers I have used. SPF 20. Im giving this a 4 out of 5 because. It is the best tinted moisturizer I have used due to the consistency and the finish it gives my face but I just don't love tinted moisturizers. I haven't found one that just wows me.

thanks for viewing!

My First Ipsy Bag + First Impressions

Don't ask what took me so long to sign up for Ipsy, I really don't know. I was a subscriber of Birchbox for a year and I liked it. It is high end beauty products, a ton of skin care, and 3 out of the 5 things were almost always samples/deluxe samples. Every so often, I would get a full size product. Ex: Laura Gellar Baked Blush n Brighten. I still have it and it is my favorite bronzer. After a while, the full size products stopped. With Ipsy, all of my five items were full size. The one drawback is that Ipsy is more of the lower end of makeup products and I have yet to see anyone get any skin care products in their Ipsy bag. In that respect, Birchbox and Ipsy are not really the same. I don't mind low end makeup, obviously. In fact, I love low end/drugstore makeup.

When I first opened it up, I was like "wow!" "wow!" "this is so cool!" Even though I have seen tons of videos/blog post's on the Ipsy stuff, I was pleasantly surprised. Every single thing was full size and every single thing was a makeup product.

 http://distilleryimage10.s3.amazonaws.com/e7fce650d90311e2859c22000a9f0a20_7.jpg
Ok first up:

NYX Rouge Cream Blush
Rose Petal
I love NYX lip products, this is the first blush I have tried. It is a peachy rose color with an orange undertone. I own a Mark Cream Blush and it is more of a powdery cream, while this cream blush is more of an oil based cream. It has nice pigment, and almost acts like a stain. A lot of brighter lipsticks do this, so I think I can attribute that to the color. I am speaking on this particular shade only.

J. Cat Sparkling Cream Palette
Suzie
This is not an eyeshadow. It is a body glitter...I cant think of anything that I would want that glittery besides my eyes. I love a good shimmer on the body, and even the hair. But straight up glitter, I have no ideas. The palette is a cream. It does feel creamy when you swatch it, yes. But after all thats said and done, it is really just bigger, chunky, glitters bonded by some type of invisible gel/cream. It is so pretty. I wish I could use it on my eyes. Maybe someone else I know will want this.

Chella
Ivory Lace Highlighter
This was my favorite thing. I was happy to see it in bag. It's shape is perfect for the inner corner, underneath the brow, and in the cupids bow. It would even be nice for an all over base, perhaps. Anywhere tight places that you would want to highlight, this is a great product for it. I used it in my inner corner and under my brow with nothing else the one day. It went on really nice and it added a nice brightening effect. It isn't shimmery so it almost looked like a natural highlight. I think it is something I will use every day.

Star Looks
Tickle Me Pink
Am I the only one that loves the smell of a lip liner? I love the wood smell. It reminds me of using my Mumum's makeup when I was little. Anyhow, whats not to love about a pink lip liner? It seems really nice and isn't so creamy that it's going to come right off your lips. It isn't to dry either to where it is tugging. I like it.

Cailyn Line-Fix Gel Liner
Purple
This is a nice deep purple cream liner but can we talk about the brush? It is nice and soft and has a really nice tip. It can get really precise. I like to use cream liner in the inner rim to add definition to my lashes. I used it to do just that yesterday, and it didn't translate to a really deep, deep purple but it did make my lashes look thicker to a certain extent. As for adding any pigment to my water liner, it fell short. It wouldn't transfer off of the brush onto my water line. As of right now, I like my Physician's Formula Cream Liner's over this one. The liner wasn't bad but I am loving the brush.

The only thing that is dumb about the Ipsy subscription is that it didnt come with any kind of index card telling me exactly what each thing is and a little more about it. If it wasn't for my cousin, I would have never known that the J. Cat palette is for your body only. You have to go to the site to find out about those kind of things. I know people think those cards are worthless in the Birchbox but now I wish I had one from Ipsy.

Are you a subscriber of Ipsy?

What do you think of it?

xoxo
